Full Price All Format ELSPA Charts for Week Ending 14th June
Here is the chart for Full Price, All Format for the week commencing 14th June 2003:
1 Enter The Matrix | Atari 2 SOCOM: Navy Seals | SCE 3 The Sims: Superstar | EA Games 4 Grand Theft Auto: Vice City | Rockstar 5 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell | Ubisoft 6 The SIms | EA Game 7 Def Jam Vendetta | EA Sportss 8 Return To Castle Wolferstein: Operation | Activision 9 Hulk | Universal Interactive 10 Championship Manager 4 | Eidos Interactive 11 The Getaway | SCE 12 Fifa 2003 | EA Sports 13 Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 | EA Sports 14 Dancing Stage Megamix | Konami 15 Midnight Club II | Rockstar 16 Dancing Stage Party Edition | Konami 17Colin McRae Rally 3 18 Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition | Konami 19 Harry Potter - Philosopher's Stone | EA Games 20 Burnout 2: Point Of Impact | Acclaim From the editorial, ELSPA: __ Finally a couple of new entries shake up the top ten. That said, it's pretty much static otherwise, and Enter the Matrix still holds the top slot. Highest new entry goes to SOCOM: US Navy SEALS, which comes in at an impressive number two. The fact that it comes bundled with the new Sony network adaptor for online play, no doubt, pushed the sales big time. In contrast, Sony's other online title released on the same day (also with an network adaptor bundle), Twisted Metal: Black, failed to enter the top 40, let alone the top 20. Clearly suggesting that, apart from those that fancied the game anyway, the vast majority of those that wanted a network adaptor went for SOCOM. Hulk also did good multi-format business, coming straight in at number nine. However, we wouldn't expect it to hold its position in the top ten for long... Apart from those two titles, the rest of the charts are pretty boring with little movement and the usual suspects vying for the higher placings. Last mention goes to Colin McRae Rally 3, which re-entered at number 20 thanks to the PC version releasing. New releases that may well make next week's chart include Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution, Wario World and Midnight Club on Xbox, which should bolster its current chart position. __ Anything to say?
