Sorry Beth, not tryna be funny, but it's a mob-attack and always has been whenever a slightly off remark is made against Jon by anyone... and i need to address issues just this once, so please don't delete this thread!

There's NO respect from any of you! Anything against Jon and it descends into insults, so am I really the chidish one, Suzan!
My debate was Jon's failure to live up to his expectations when going back in and what a farce it ws sending him in. That was my gripe! That was my debate. It's in my first post (below) along with Lucretia's. I read Lucretia's post and thought shit, this sums up the bb forum now!

You're all tickling each other' ears with your love of Jon, guys!

Who really is the Troll, Suzan? You are occupying the BB forum with the rest of the Jon-lovers who now live here! It WAS a good place to debate once upon a time, sadly and to Lucretia's credit, she summed it up and I agreed with her and added my feelings on it! But if you can't see it now, you never will!

I come here during free-time at work for somethig different and BB is finished now anyway so i'm not that bothered, but I refuse to debate here trying to duck the subject of Jon for fear of being jumped on by the rest of the Jon-lovers anyway.

I HAD and DID from day 1, have valid points to air here, but the disrespect i am gettin is disgraceful all through a love of a house-mate and not being able to take critique of him! That's sad guys! Noone should resort to damnright nastiness and bitterness cos Jon didn't win! Aww didumms! He's only a person, nothing to get worked up over, but my point is that some people will feel outcasted and run out because of it. That is what is SAD!

I have to say, this gets 'post of the week' for me. SO TRUE!

Jon went back in the house with a certain arrogance, didn't live upto what he said he was gonna do and in reality was useless and futile in the final 2 weeks, but i get the feeling that even if he'd have shit all over the floor, the Jon-lovers would have worshipped him even more anyway and Lucretia is right in that they cannot take critique of him.
Before anyone says anythin' rippin' Cameron or anyone else, I don't care... I wasn't a particular fan of anyone in there, I never really do find favourites, I'm a fan of reality TV in general. 'Spontaneity' intigues me, but unfortunately the abundance of niceties and tedium, kinda made it different to past BB's and I inevitably lost interest half way through. I thought Jon, like the rest, wasn't particularly entertaining and certainly added to the tedium but yeah.. DID... have his good moments, like all of them in there. They all had good moments! But Jon isn't particularly special, altho' he does deserve credit for his intellignce. I'll give him that! But there are plenty of intelligent people out there... he's not unique. THAT'S MY VIEW! RIP IT OR ZIP IT! Perhaps, I ain't a hardcore fan of BB or DS, who caresI But I agree wit' Lucretia. It was quite a post. Well done! I admire people who air their view even if it goes against the majority and to add to what she said, for me it has been quite disappointing to participate on the DS forum this year because of the overwhelming biting remarks that are thrown at you by the Jon-lovers, when you pass an opinion of him in a negative way.
Apart from the people who are not afraid to stick to what they say and don't mind being in the minority and have stuck it out for 9 weeks battling against the Jon-lovers (credit to them, i didn't feel that strongly or had the time to do it), but I feel people on here generally have probably been almost peer-pressured into refraining from making negative comments of Jon for fear of the 'hate-mobbing'.
I personally started to drift away from the forum after week one, partly because of being busy in work, but definetly also because of the general DS consensus bias to Jon (led by the stronger posters 'who just happened to love Jon' and followed by the sheep who "wanted to conform and feel part of something" cos they don't have anything outside of DS (which there isn't anything wrong with, by the way. I realise that some people need forums like this as a way to socialize). But, I was finding the time I DID and usually DO enjoy on DS (during I'm a celebrity and BB), sadly being substituted for something else during my lunch hour or quite periods in work... Lucretia's post summed up why! "The Jon lovers"!
Undoubtedly, people are gonna say "Isn't it because Jon is such a star that he was so popular" Not the case, he was just more popular on this website 'which I have now dubbed in my favourites list as "The Geek-lovers forum". If you're talking public eye, other HM's, especially Cameron was just as popular and inevitably won it. Good on him, I say! He was a worthy winner. Jon couldn't WIN when he went back in so WHY did he go back in. Fair enough, give him a chance (I thought) if he is gonna "MESS WITH PEOPLE'S MINDS", it's worth a shot for spicing BB up a bit and it'll keep the JOn-lovers happy for a while SO THEY CAN WATCH THEIR 'NEW FOUND MEANING IN LIFE' FOR A LITTLE BIT LONGER but he went in with an air of superiority and didn't live up to why he went back in and to my astonishment, ended up joining the group and becoming one of them and it was just a big disapointment in the end. Oh actually he did get drunk and could be seen as getting a bit of emotion out of Ray, so that was'nt too bad! ahem. perlleeeeaaaassee! Come on! Wake up... sending someone back in, was a farce! What makes me laugh is that the Jon-lovers on this forum DID have valid points about him, like anyone who has a valid point of any HM, but if someone aired a view of someone else, the hate-mob with their "SHUTUP, THEY SUCK, IT'S JON YOU WANNA SUPPORT" attitude was becoming wearisome and quite simply it was because they couldn't take the fact that he'd been voted out so early and the bitterness was very evident in their posts.

P.S. Don't throw the fact that a few people who supported Cameron got banned from here for being even more nasty, cos to me, it's quite clear that they too grew tired and contuinually frustrated at the posts from the 'Jon -lovers' on this DS:BB forum (incidentally, being renamed as 'welovejonbecausewecanrelatetohisgeekiness forum') and they DID well to stay cool for as long as they did, because as Jon lovers and knowing his deep knowledge into physics, you should know only too well, that every ACTION, has an equal and opposite REACTION and sadly, that's the reason for their banishment from this forum. Provocation!

It got 'ridiculous' like Lucretia says very aptly. It's worth quoting again. Well cone Lucretia!
