In fairness to lloyd....
I think tonight was his best vocal and he looked the most confident he has done since the start of the lives.
Against everyone he really does seem out of his depth, but i was still impressed with his vocals (apart from that one note which they meany use in the voting clips) ![]() Still think he is leaving tomorrow but at least at last cheryl gave him a song more suited to him...and it showed he was much better. I know most people hated it but i really do think it was his best vocals so far in the lives... |

I agree with you Bluerose, it was his most comfortable performance, and a really good vocal apart from the note after the big one (which was great
).He's not as bad as people say, he's got a nice tone, I just wish he'd waited a few years before auditioning, because he would have been something special. He's only going to get better

Can't disagree with that, but he is a boy in a big grown up world, and too fragile. He is this year's Eoghan. Maybe in a couple of years?

The part they used was the best part of an otherwise poor performance. Bum note included.
He's a nice enough lad I'm sure, just not cut out for this show. He's a definite prospect for boy-band material in the future though. Has all the credentials : Good Looks, Half-Decent vocal, and I think he would benefit from being part of a group. He seems a little lost on stage. |

I liked him tonight. I like him most weeks, I just don't LOVE him.
My own opinion is that he is not quite ready. I wish he had not gone through to live shows this year and had tried again next year. Lovely lad, with a pleasant but weak so far voice. |

Why is it that Dannii seems to know his range and Cheryl doesn't (put aside that songs are chosen by the powers that be for 1 moment)?
She would have looked after him.

He did well all things considered
![]() I didn't appreciate Simon's comment he was "giving up", as you say he gave quite a confident performance and hasn't played for sympathy at all. I can't see a bottom two without him though. Sorry

I do think that was the best Lloyd has ever performed, and think it would have been horrible for him to go out last week after that sing-off when he was so ill. I agree with Lizzy in that I don't think he was ready for XF yet, another couple of years and his voice will be better. I do like him, he seems a lovely boy, he just doesn't have any X Factor for me.

![]() I know dont worry, i kinda know he will leave tomorrow. I still stand by that he has been treated horribly by the show, given horrible songs etc. ![]() When they gave him a slow song he improved...why did they not do it earlier . I will be very very happy if lloyd gets through tomorrow but i think its 98% likely he will.

I thought he was poor tonight. Very, very poor. I was actually cringing for him. Imo it's time he was out of there. He's a sweet kid but he just doesn't have it.

I thought he might still have his cold? Maybe the public would not have believed him if he had said that??

Unfortunately he is out of his depth. He seems a genuine kid with a half decent voice. He should not have been put through this year. Maybe in a couple of years he could of made it, but it will be hard for him to re-apply as many others have found

poor vocals, no stage presence, no creativity, far too inexperienced...
the only positive I have to say is that he seems a nice guy, and maybe just maybe if they'd told him to go sing in some pubs and clubs and come back in a year or two's time we'd have had a decent contestant. if he was ugly he'd have been ditched at the auditions stage |

he has a really nice tone to his voice, but as louis said would suit a boyband. Not a strong solo artist despite te nice voice.

I think in all fairness to the other contestants, he should go.
He's the weakest in the competition.........................sorry ![]() But if we are to be truly fair to others, he should have gone about two weeks ago. Perhaps the only vocalists worst than him are Jedward, but unfortunately it's not only a talent competition, but a popularity one. |
