oh how exciting - i hope it's a long chapter! the first 7 chapters have left me with several questions and flashback scenes i need to read. i might have to go to a special (mental) place and tell you what those scenes are! this is what you've done to me...

It's very long. Currently it's 8443 words long, and it's still changing because I'm adding/taking things away as I go. I'm actually tempted to split it it's so long, but I won't.

Omg, your making me even more impatient!

I think long chapters are definitely the best, alot of the time when i'm reading them, when i look at the scrollbar and its near the bottom it makes me sad

Are you asking if there are any flashbacks? About 90% of this chapter is a flashback *nod*. It's a long one.

I'm pretty sure they were spotted eating somewhere in Swansea too. There was a bit about it on the Swansea radio website at the time but that seems to have gone now. They quoted Marc as saying how lucky he was that the others had done all the hard work building the Masood's and then he rocked up playing this cool character who causes chaos.

* Hands Lucy food as "our secret". Walking the right side of the line between pyschopath and hotty. The baseball hat may have made it hotter? Not sure how that works.

* “Phone. Now.” OH MY FU*KING GOD. And we were concerned? Turns out threatening Syed is just sexy Syed. Like I can handle it when he’s all masterful!

* “I don’t know, you don’t know” smirk and slow walk towards Lucy. Passes out. You can threaten me anytime Syed!

I actually loved the double shut ups...like a normal couple.

Yes I don't think Syed was rude and ungrateful at all. Really he could have been much worse. Let’s face it both times they were spotted the... alley drag and in the second alley…both were instigated by Christian and he never threw that at him. Then it was Lucy who was the blackmailer (presumably her that spotted them both times? Although that really wasn’t confirmed in the dialogue I don’t think) but anyway someone in Christian’s family but again no blame even though he might well have resented that a bit too plus he'd had to cope with it all mostly alone till right at the end.

He was pretty good really all things considered.
I think it must be hard when they get interviewed to remember all the detail though so many months after filming, plus its seems they film it a few ways or slightly differently sometimes. I'm still mourning the Syed in the tight greeen t-shirt scene we never saw!

As for all these babies????!!! What happened here??...has nobody heard of contraception on this thread. Some of them are scary ...though some very very cute!

Have we had a Minty and Heather one yet?

ha no, i love the 2012 stuff as much as the flashbacks - always keep that stuff for sure as it writes really naturally...and is frankly lovely to read a bit of happiness.

it wasn't so much the volume of flashbacks, it was that there were certain flashbacks i really want to read! obviously the obvious stuff like the reveal and how syed finds out christian's going/them getting back together...but the random stuff like 2010/2011 with a little angsty syed trying to get used to things. what can i say, i'm a sucker for a sad syed alone during ramadan/eid and a comforting christian. swoon.

can't wait to read your next chapter, anyway.
