What on earth will someone TALL do on such a BIG and SPRUNG floor?

And whilst I'm here can I unappreciate the early start tonight? We'll have to do the piggers' veggies before they've had their afternoon tea!

Anyone else worried that the combination of TALL, with BIG SPRUNG floor will result in Jade and Ian going into orbit during their Jive?

Batts! That wasn't very nice. If someone wants a Pollyanna moment who are you to snatch it away from them?

I'm sorry ...

I have tried really hard, but I cannot imagine Jade doing a jive

I like the girl, and I wish her well, but you need to be really bouncy to do the ballroom jive, and I'm not sure she can do it with those long legs and all that superb muscle. Oh dear.

Anyone else think 'ballroom jive' is irredeemably camp? I do.

Gimme an East Coast or West Coast Swing anyday. I'm not biased, much.

Ah I don't mind Bats is probably right

I just had to look up Pollyanna btw and I found this definition:

- unreasonably or illogically optimistic: some pollyanna notions about world peace.

If I ever made it to the Miss World finals I would so say that

She better had, otherwise I'm going to have a mega strop.

And if I have a mega strop, I run the risk of indulging in a spot of spree killing, eradicating all the slack jawed oiks round here who've been letting of frigging fireworks for God knows how long and terrifying my poor little pussy cats. Kill kill kill.

I've lost track of who's from where, too.

You are right, that was cruel.. Though in my defence it was for her own good, the worst thing is the disappointment. Looking forward to the show, only for your hopes and dreams of fantastic entertainment to be crushed by that first doddery I am not

And don't forget the little pointy hat and boots, will you?

You can keep your Morris dancing bells and we can sit in a corner waving our We Luv Jade flags & jingling a lot, waiting for the full force of the thread's scorn & derision. You can even wave your Union Jack knickers at them if the going gets really tough.
