Still not got my update as of yet iam in the manchester area anybody got there's from this area yet ???????

Yes you're being left out...

If you had read the article on DS about the update, you would have seen that the Samsung boxes will completed by the end of next week, then the rollout will commence for the Amstrad boxes.

how was i supposed to know lol anyway just checked my email and i have a email saying Important Information for Sky+HD customers‏ look out for the new epg guide it doesent state when iam getting it but is that the email i should be looking for ?

Just by looking at previous posts maybe? Anyway, that's the email you get prior to the update, so you should be updated in the early hours of the morning.

I have a samung 005 emailed 20th oct still no new epg
I see 008 are now recieving their emails.
Do you think i will be updated this week or should i ring sky'
Ps box is never switched off always on standby when i get up for work

If someone just gets the Free Channels via there HD box(like freeview) will they still get the new EPG?

What a bummer! Maybe you should give them a quick call, or wait until you hear that Amastrad boxes have started getting the new guide and then do a forced update as I understand that when they move onto the next make, it is available to the previous makes forced update stream.

Just out f curiosity did you do a forced update when you got the email from Sky? I understand that can halt proceedings.

I know I would have been fustrated if it had been me and I am sure most of the other posters :s

Yeah I've just checked and the update has happened for me too. So far it seems to be ok, no immediate problems I've discovered but don't worry, if I find anything I'll be posting haha

With regards to the front panel indicator bug. I usually have this turned off but it was still working. I have just changed it to standard and it is now off. Has anyone else found this? At least it has got rid of the distraction.

007, got it. Taking a while to get used to but I like it.

Turned off mini TV, I prefer the planner to take up the whole screen.

008, got the email yesterday, no new epg as of 7am this morning.

Am sadly only on single feed at the moment, would that harm the chances of the box taking a targeted upgrade (no recordings set and anytime switched off)?
