Lol, I have to agree with you there. Though when Debbie was on Bid-tv she was always flicking at her fringe.Im not fussed about her myself.

Yes sadly an inquest in hatfied found he had taken his own life, whlist being ill with depression over the break up of his marriage.

The blonde mature lady who does jewellery and fashion is quite terrifying in an elegant sort of way.

By the way Alison who does the beauty products - methinks shes gone a bit overboard on thr old botox....

My fav on QVC was Kara Tritton, she was very good.
My memory of Kara was that she was very bad, she used to break all the stuff she was trying to demonstrate You've got to love her! The other one I used to like was Suzanne Evett. Both gone for ever now I suppose.

Would be nice to see Claire JUST wearing a santa hat but i guess that would be more for one of the channels in the 900's!

You d think with all that talent there on QVC
they would really go to town and make
a Panto.......... say" Babes in the wood" or something

With resident babes like Claudia.... Alison K....
and Catherine H ..... it could really be hot
A Panto lasting 2 hours they could re run it all thru Christmas day
It would be fascinating to see the presenters in exotic Panto costumes and full make up...

but no.... we will get the usual placard on screen......... A very merry Christmas
to everyone from all at QVC
then a list of the presenters names

.............. pathetic isnt it ?

Thank god for this thread, I thought I was the only one who loves shopping channels, even if I don't want to buy some of the shows can be good.

QVC is so fake, and I know a couple of people who worked there, they call them presenters but they are just sales people. Julia is so up herself and was quite bitchy when Craig was auditioning, I can't watch the beauty shows when Alison Young is on, that voice and her obsession with clelebrities drives me mad, I don't care who uses the stuff, just shut up and let the guest tell us about the product.

Love Ideal World presenters, love the craft shows, Steph and Nigel are hilarious.

Love the rivelry, QVC have started to try and be funny and it just doesn't work, and paying people to phone in is just pathetic. Have seen Nigel and Steph at shows and they are just as warm and friendly as you would imagine but more risque.

What happened to that Daniel on QVC, he appeared in a big hyped up entrance and then disappeared again. Surprised at Debbie coming back, I would have thought she would be too common for QVC.

Finally where is Molton Brown? used to have their xmas TSV every year.

Daniel moved back to the states as his wife and kid didn't get on too well when they moved over here. Julia was a complete cow about him laughing that he couldn't pronounce certain brands and words. At least he wasn't a liar like her telling us she wears a size small in clothing! Can't help you about molton brown i'm afraid.

Molton Brown were bought out by a Japanese company who felt that QVC weren't 'high end' enough for them to sell on, so they pulled out of selling on there completely. It's a shame, the Xmas TSV was always amazing value for money. Although the guest presenter with her 'heady nights of expectation' always used to make me laugh - 'it's shower gel, love...get a grip...'

Just read it was a few years ago, I'm so behind with the times.
**sheepishly puts my hand up** I didn't know either

Glad I just read this thread tho, my mom is a QVC junkie and said the other day she wondered why Molton Brown wasn't on there anymore.

Goes off to ring her with the gossip

Steve Whately was Mr. Diamonique, wasn't he? He was a very charming man. You'd have thought QVC would have given him a warning rather than sack him.

I used to buy loads from QVC but stopped buying as I just could not stand a lot of the presenters. I've bought enough jewellery from them that I could open a shop!

There are forums entirely devoted to the shopping channels at shoppingtelly.com. I've just had a look there myself and noticed that Leonie Pujol is leaving the craft hours on QVC and moving to Create and Craft. (Quite big news in crafting circles, trust me )

Its a wonder that Anthea has n't homed in on QVC by now,
I could just see her as the glamorous guest selling
her latest fashion range... or her latest jewellry collection
.. could be a profitable sideline !
