VIP Package With 50MB Possible?
I am currently with virgin for phone and broadband and have sky for tv.
To save a few pennies here and there im going to move for virgin tv also, the vip package looks the best deal. It only offers 20mb broadband though and customer service has said for £97.50 i can have the 50mb with the VIP and this includes the £11 for the phone. The trouble was the lady (from outside the uk) was a liitle un convincing so i wanted to double check this was the case. Any help would be appreciated |

£97.50 is correct for VIP with 50mb BB. Though I pay £2 for callerID and £5 handling on top.

I went to a market research last week at the Cresta Court hotel in Altrincham where VM had some of their new offers to look at. The best one I could see was the new VIP package was to include 50meg for £82.50 per month. They also had an offer in which you received a Nokia N97 with 800 x network minutes and unlimited dowloads + tv + internet for £47 per month. They were only testing the water with them but they were looking to see how they could repay loyalty to VM customers and attract new customers with a new entry level offer.

Seems heck of a lot to me. I'm paying approx £21 for medium bb and a basic phone line(which I don't use but was told I need a phone line to get that deal?!) I'm happy with the speed of the bb with 3 in the house sharing the connection.
I'd like to add V+ maybe with the xl package but will I be looking at another £35 a month to add it on? Might have to stick with the freeview and ps3 pvr I'd like to watch hd programmes but can't really justify spending £420 a year on it.

Of course, the V+ install would cost you £75 as well. |
