I dont really have a clear favourite, but tonight I did love Ali and Brians VW. I've not always been convinced by them though, but tonight I saw a glimmer of the Mavia connection that we loved in our two.

She started off doing that but that whole approach seems to have gone out the window really now.

The problem with that approach (and I remember thinking it when she was appointed too) is, she knows what its like to get over 30 nearly every week and win the show, but she doesn't know what its like to work hard all week, perform and then be told you are rubbish. She has absolutely no idea.

Someone like Karen Hardy will always be better, she may never have been a bad dancer herself but she has taught bad dancers and truly can empathise. Just like Len will have taught bad dancers, but I don't think the choreography judges will have had to work with bad dancers. I suspect this is why Len is the most generous of the judges too.

Hmmmm.....I should go to bed......

No, not too hopefull at all Shimmy. We can always live in hope...well for at least 10 mins anyway until someone comes along and bursts our bubble which is what usually happens.
Ohh now that would be good Come on BBC you know you want to show us every second of matt and flavia in training with craig

Yeah thought as much! Well that will be dreamworld and I'll try and stay in reality and not be too hopeful, then when we do get anything it's always so much better cos we never expected it!

Okay this SO makes me think of Flavia! Maybe they are alike in more ways than just stunning looks?!

‘I always wake up early and jump out of bed – sometimes not wanting to, because one can always find an alibi not to exercise – and then I take a walk for an hour. And as I walk round the park I always think, “Maybe round the corner I am going to find something beautiful.” I always think positively. It is very rare that you find me in a mood that is sad or melancholic,’ she says, with a smile that accentuates her extraordinary bone structure.

Lol...Yip, that sounds pretty much like something Flav would say too.

She really is very beautiful still, and Flav being compared to her is a huge compliment. I think Flav will be equally as stunning still when she is as old as Sophia. She takes very good care of herself and appears to be getting younger instead of older...

I know, they are both so beautiful, and I agree that Flavia will be just as stunning when she's older too. Can't believe it but she really does look younger every year!

And wasn't Flavia brought up in Naples too? Wasn't one of the pages for a thing for flavia a really pretty pic of naples? Was it Molly's?

Yeah it was.

There is a lot of similarity between them....I wonder how well Sophia can dance.
Maybe we'll see Flav taking up acting when her dancing days are over.....Now, what part would you have her play and who would you cast as her leading man?

Hehe they should get her on the show! Ohh maybe...hnm tricky question Sophie (Sophia! Ha!) in Mamma Mia and gosh...I just can't seem to think of a guy to play Sky! I mean, he'd have to have his shirt off for most of the time...

....Seriously!!! That was the roles I was going to choose too.
Since first seeing Mamma Mia I have had him earmarked for that part. ...and Flav would be a great Sophie.

I'm off to bed now. Strictly was fab tonight even though I'm still a bit sad that Flav had to leave...

We will just have to look forward to seeing her in the pro dances, and hopefully a good number of ITT appearances doing..............anything really!!

The eliminated pros havent been on ITT too much this year but hopefully now that the couples have dwindled to less than half now, that there will be more time for Pro features....like Flav playing her violin!!

I think we will have to start up a petition for that 'Hidden Talents of The Pros feature'

Must remember and post some comments for Flav and Craig on the ITT boards for Monday and hopefully Claudia will read out some fan messages to them.

Goodnight Shimms and anyone else still lurking...xx

It was fab, but I don't mind that they've gone as they both seemed okay with it...and Flavia's look to the camera during their last dance was hilarious! We get to see the flav on monday guaranteed too. Hope we get to see plenty of her during the rest of the series, otherwise I'm just gonna be sad and bored Would love to see her play violin! Maybe they could strictly cribs her *wink* never know who might be around.....

We deffo have to get Claudia to read out some comments to the flav, I don't think she's had any this year when others have had some nearly every time they've been on.

Night Teddy and everyone else too

xxx

Morning all

Thought it was a fab show last night, it really was brill having it at Blackpool, so pleased Flavs was still in the competition to dance there. The Pro VW was gorgeous, although was a bit disappointed they weren't proper princess dresses, still loved Flavia's dress though, she looked stunning!

Bless Craig he tried his very best right to the end but it was their time to go, he stayed much longer then people thought and I'm pleased he made his goal of Blackpool. Flavia looked so happy and bubbly tonight even after they were out, think she is definitely pleased no other good dancers went before they did.

The group swing number didn't really thrill me though, especially when you compare it to the group dances that have been done at the same stage in previous years. Matt's year they did the fabulous Dirty Dancing number in week 8, and in only week 6 they did the Jitterbug which I though knocked spots of last nights dance. Didn't really see the point of Jill H being there either, she only got to do a few steps. Flav's outfit was so cute though, she looked fab

Was a great night all round I thought, hope they keep going to Blackpool in future series

Love yours and Shimmy's idea of them as Sophie and Sky, they'd be great as them , I think the ultimate movie couple for them though would have to be.....Johnny and Baby

I'm defninitely signing that

I really hope she's on ITT lots from now on, there will hopefully be more time for little pro features now that only half the couples are left. I want to see Hidden Talents and Flav's Strictly Crib at the very least Then I'd also like a feature on Flav's wardrobe and one with her and Matt (although I feel those last two may be pushing it just a smidge ).

I'll have to remember to and post a message too, maybe if lots of us leave messages they might realise that Craig and Flav have got support of the forums and read one out . I wonder if the Strictly Host guy will start an official thread for messages for them, do they still do that on the BBC boards for the eliminated couple?

Well I've said I think she looked like a character in Marple or Poirot after that 'Murder on the dancefloor' photoshoot!

Am really sad to see them go But am happy though because they should of gone out really and also happy because Flavia had a lovely smile when they went out And it must of been really special going out at Blackpool because they got a standing ovation and things And I did love their cha cha

Good Morning Mavaria!!

Back in the comfort of home - and how good is that!!

As will Craig and Flav in their respective homes, and I'm sure Flav is thinking"How good is that?"

I really dont see Craig being asked onto the Strictly tour, do you?? - especially as Flav and Vinthent arn't doing it.

Anyway, it was a great night - loved Ali and Brians VW. A worthy 40. My personal choice for the last 4 couples would be Ali and Brian, Jade and Ian, Team Cola, and - regretfully, because they don't make me enthuse, Ricky W and Tina Sparkle!

Thoughts on a postcard???

Westherise - its going to be wet!!

Enjoy your day

JJ

Hm no I don't think he will be asked to do the tour

I loved Ali and Brian's VW, it was so lovely, I squealed very loudly when they got 40
