Looks like Celebrity Scissorhands has been axed...

...it's not in next week's BBC3 or BBC1 schedules, but usually runs for two and a half weeks before Children in Need, so would've been due on next week.

Calling it Celebrity was a bit of a stretch considering who turned up on it

Hardly a huge loss, aside to BBC3 schedules

Well the papers were slating it recently because published accounts showed that although it made a million quid in revenue the show cost so much that CIN only came out with about £30k. Replaced with "round the world" that is supposed to be a similar flop as a charity venture (but no doubt fine for ratings).

Aww, never mind, I was looking forward to watching Lee and Mr Strange butt heads. I'd turn over from IACGMOOH and watch the late night episode over on BBC3. A double hit of reality tv to while away the long dark weekday winter nights.

It's a shame as I love that show. The conflict between Lee and Steve Strange last year was very entertaining.

How did it do ratings wise?

Can't imagine too much especially considering the calibre of it's line up

I agree, but after last year, I wasn't expecting Steve back anyway. He left before the end, remember. It must've been doing OK ratings wise, as it ran for three years.

Not strictly on topic but talking of celebrities and haircuts...

All that money and Bernie Ecclestone consistently looks like his hair has been cut by the bastard lovechild of Stevie Wonder and Jack The Ripper.

Pity it's been cancelled. Lee is gorgeous.

I quite enjoyed it, watching these people thinking they were going to have some wonderful haircut from a 'z'leb

I thought the conflict between Steve Strange and any form of reality was the most entertaining!
