Holiday Parks and the Switchover?

I was on Holiday at Pontins a few weeks ago and had a Tv in the Room but no Freeview box and wanted to know what will Holiday parks do now the Switchover has taken place?

Would they have to get a freeview box in for every Tv they have on there Holiday Parks?

Center Parcs in Whinfell, Cumbria is run through Sky

Not sure about the others, most hotels I've been in have offered Sky too.

I imagine the likes of Pontins et al will just simply update any of the old 15'' TV's etc into LCD built in Freeview TV bought at en masse discount from a producer

Slightly off-topic, my local has the one TV set perched on top of a shelf, and the picture quality is appalling. It's analogue only, and the regulars have moaned a little about it. The landlord has admitted he's waiting for switch-over before replacing the set!

I suppose there are a lot of B+B's in seaside resorts who have lil' portable analogue sets in guests rooms (been there/seen that many times!) They will either have to be adapted - if there's the room and the funds, or thrown out. Hotel room without a telly. Oh, joy!!

They'll just buy in some cheap supermarket brand TV's with Freeview built in or even run digital into the rooms from a Sky/Virgin sub

Once the switchover is complete, smallscreen digital TV's will drop to pretty low prices plus any canny B and B or hotel owner will go to manafacturer and get a good deal
