BEST and WORST places to raise kids poll results
A poll was conducted recently by Reader's Digest to find out the best and worst places to raise your kids. Where is your town? 1 is the best and 408th is the worst . My borough is 407th out of 408th

Reading didn't seem that bad when I went there. nor oxford. what criteria where they judged on? Mine is 375 and it's far worse than reading and oxford!

Having had a quick look at that list , personally I would not think it is very accurate at all. Readers Digest , not really the hardest hitting of pollsters.

Odd results, Bexley at 49? The borough of Bexley used to be quite a nice family area but we left because it really was becoming less of a pleasant place to raise children.
Now in East Herts which comes in at 204 but was recently 7th in another best place to live thingy. |
