Numb3rs Series 4 - ITV3

Anyone got any idea what's happened to Numb3rs series 4 which has been showing on ITV3

It's not on next week - does that mean that they've cancelled it after only 13 episodes or are we taking a break for any specific reason?

Its not in the scehdules for the next two weeks.

I was wondering the same.

It's not been cancelled as the US is currently showing series 5. With Five having the first run rights for series 5, maybe ITV have decided to give up on it. If they have the good news is that Five has second run rights to series 4 and plans to show it over the summer so we will eventually get the rest of the series.

Hopefully that's not the case and we will get the rest from ITV in a few weeks

There are only five episodes left 14 to 18 (the season was shorter because of the strike). ITV are absolutely useless. They let the rights slip, which means Five are showing Season 5 at the same time as ITV are showing Season 4. If I remember rightly, the idiots at ITV did this last time with Season 3. They left the last four or so episodes for a few months later, for no good reason.

Oh brilliant So I am recording season 5 to watch after season 4 has ended and now it looks like I'm going to have to shelve season 5 until after Five has reshown season 4

This is extremely annoying and I know exactly where I can get the final five episodes from and it won't be from any TV channel

My Freeview DVR is awash with Numb3ers both ITV3 and Five, I can see myself eventually deleting the whole lot to save my sanity

I contacted ITV Viewers Services yesterday and they told me that they will resume airing series 4 from the beginning of May. They didn't have an actual date but they assured me that they are still planning on finishing the series so we are just getting a break before the final 5 episodes.

As far as I am concerned this is a welcome break because I have loads of other stuff to watch and it will give me a chance to catch up a bit.

I too have series 5 recorded but I will be copying them out on to DVD's over the next few weeks to ease the load on my PVR

So at least it's good news that ITV aren't dumping the series.

I guess I can wait a few weeks. I am saving season 5 too, at leastmy sky+ box has room.
It is rather silly how they are scheduling this show...

Phew - I came back from vacation and just caught up to The Black Swan and thought something had gone wrong with my V+ recordings - then checked next week and saw it still wasn't scheduled. I 'have' actually been watching both season 4 and 5 together, but knowingwhere season 5 started I knew there were at least a few more episodes...

Thanks for looking into this - I'll leave it programmed and hopefully they'll slot it back in the same time and the series link will pick it up (and I'll be checkign their website daily LOL)

Just noticed that last week's Numb3rs is missing from my Sky planner. Was it on or has my box been playing tricks on me?

I just checked with DigiGuide and there's nothing in the next two weeks. Maybe after that. Dunno

I thought ITV3 had the second-run rights?

Don't suppose we know when? I liked this show, but completely missed the start of S4 when it came on, so never bothered with it, preferring to wait for the DVD release - which so far is non-existant on R2.

Be good to catch S4 on FiveUS if this is the case, and wouldn't want to miss it again

Thought I'd re-use this most-recent thread on the show to post this. No point starting a new one really

For those of you - like me - watching Season 5 on ITV3 and wondering where it's gone, I am completely pee'd off to tell you that I have had it confirmed by ITV that the series will not return until sometime next year
