Tweed Has Now Realised That................

Next Thursday he could be behind bars, according to a "unamed friend" they added: "He is fearing the worst and thinks jail is inevitable.

"But he is clinging to the hope the judge will think he has already gone through enough and will give him a suspended sentence."

Do you really think the judge would be compelled to do this??

Discuss!

I wouldn't count on him getting community service for this, he is charged with assault on somebody just doing their job, he has form, and i'm not sure of the timing but perhaps he did this latest assault whilst awaiting trial for the golf club attack.

i think the judge will be under a lot of pressure NOT to be seen as soft on him.

of course, his jail sentence will be spun into a "grieving" media opportunity.

Well he can always try, but I hope he won't get out of this one. Don't go assaulting people if you do not want end up in prison, simple as that.

'Already gone through enough'?? His personal circumstances and the fact he violently assaulted somebody should be kept entirely separate.

There is no room for sentimentality when he has proven he is a thug who keeps re-offending time and time again.

I agree with you! What about his victims they went through enough when he viciously assaulted them!

Courts do not usually look at what people have 'gone through' before they determine a sentence - I would guess that a lot of criminals have suffered bereavements along the way. If Jack gets special treatment because of all the media fuss it will be a total miscarriage of justice.

It's impossible to tell what the judge will decide - some decisions you see coming out of the courts appear very low for the crimes they're for, while others seem to be sensible despite external pressure to be lenient.

Considering the seriousness of the offence, the fact it was unprovoked, his plea of not guilty and the fact that he's already had the sentencing pushed back to accommodate his personal life, I would expect a couple of months in jail.

He has already been granted a number of concessions, i.e. the court dates being delayed several times, curfew rules being relaxed, etc. so pleading for further leniency is much more than he deserves.

The courts do have an often strange way of deciding these things nowadays though.

I would hope not. Many other criminals go through personal trauma but it does not alter the fact that they have committed a crime. They should all be treated the same and not given suspended sentences, or let out of prison early, just because they are in the public eye and have "gone through enough"

Who knows what sordid details Max has about the Judge. Not that he would ever use such info.

But as someone once said - Its not what you know and its not who you know, its what you know about who you know that counts!

I wouldn't be surprised if he now receives a fine and community service. Has there been any stories of him doing good deeds lately? Anything about him doing some voluntary work, saving drowning kittens or such like. He's got an image to uphold, he won't be able to that successfully behind bars.

this is such a non-story - an "unnamed friend"......Some of you really give MC a lot more credit for his abilities that he deserves!

He'll be sent down I'm pretty certain.

I absolutely agree. He has already had leniency with the tag. If he looked the slightest but remorseful I wouldn't mind but he doesn't.

Oh......

I was responding about the fact someone was saying MC could basically nobble the judge if he had info on him - this is why I say people are giving him too much credence.

Not sure the relevance of his being at the villa is....
