I thought they'd shut us down for good! And as to August 12th it might be the start of grouse shooting season but it's also somebody's birthday...

it's weird, when I see the title of the thread I keep going to the space underneath where "last" should be written and I always click

yep, the thread feels empty, like its been cut off in its prime, they should move over the last couple of pages - so the convs can continue unbroken

Hello, back again! I was in the middle of replying to lolly and when I posted I found that the thread was locked....it gave me an unpleasant shock. Glad it wasn't because of anything I said...

So lolly, that is quite a list of exams still. I wish you all the best and feel certain you'll do great!

Two birthdays today. Main one is tvqueen (Happy Birthday again) - and the birth of a shiny new thread.

That's a good idea. Never mind, the pages will soon fly by. It's unsettling at first though.

How nice for the birthday girl to be the first poster, says Moots with great generosity, seeing as how SHE wanted to be the Thread Starter for part 8.

I hope all of Ess's refugee packs and rations are in place, as well as the starry beanbag, pointy stick pile and where is my snow machine?

Maybe we should rename this the Tutters Thread seeing that hardly any of us actually Lurk any more

I'm enjoying the Chelsea Flower Show on TV, and I want to get some woad

I was a bit peeved when that boring garden won. I like LOTS of flowers and a cottage garden sort of ambience.

I think the everything is in place now or should be, sad to see part 7 sliding down the page and into history but heres to part 8 lol

Hello Moots! (Oh Highly Revered Tutter)

I'm fond of irises, and they had some lovely varieties. Currently have a lovely one in my flat which came from the family garden, that is a whitish shade with a hint of lavender colour. The scent is delicate but distinct. Do you have a garden or keep plants?
