It looks fun but i hope its not limited by the amount of things you can draw. I hope it doesnt cost like £40 either. Hopefully around £15 on the store.

Hehe that lil guy premiered at Leipzig in 2008. I've been excited about it every since. Roll on December. We're gonna get loads of people in store wanting eyetoys.

Well with the camera what did you expect?

£30 for the camera, £30 for the game no?

Anyway , those virtual things get boring and you'll be bored after about an hour. Feeding a virtual pet and getting it to draw things is only fun for so much time.

What did i expect? an 8 quid PSN game thats what i expect, my playstation eye can carry on rotting away doing nothing rather than me pay over a tenner for a game of such limited appeal.

How much was Nintendogs when it first came out?

Just because it's uber casual doesn't mean it should be sold on PSN

LMAO what a kack argument. Thats like me saying well Dizzy was £1.99 so why should i have to pay Codemasters 40 quid for Grid.

Nintendogs was much more than a tech demo, it was also considerably less than £60 and i am going to stick my neck out and say lots of people got more hours of gameplay out of it than is good for you.

Worms on the PS1 was 40 quid, what is the PSN price? Wipeout on the PS1 was 40 quid but what is the PSN price of WipeoutHD? EyePet is not now and will not ever be a BRD game worth 30 or 40 quid.

Did anyone else play Eye of Judgement?

This Eye Pet thing seems to be a continuation of that concept... it is a pretty wierd feeling to look into the tv and see a kind of 'augmented reality' where everything you ecpect is there plus a surreal creature or two.

I'll likely get this - my kids got a real blast from playing with the Eye of Judgement monsters so I'm certain that the degree of interaction this seems to offer will keep them amused for hours.

£35.

Nobody really knows how much content is in this game, so it's a little premature to be commenting on the value of the package, or how much appeal the final product will have.

Still, it should be pretty obvious that this is being targetted towards children, so you can't judge it by the same criteria that you'd think about a game you'd buy for yourself.

I gotta say if I was a developer I don't think I would have spent around 2 years developing a game that would cost under a tenner

Um... price isn't necessarily that simple an issue, and certainly doesn't dictate the quality of the software. I would prefer to create a game that cost under £10 and sold millions of copies than to create a game that cost around £40 and sold just a few thousand!

This type of 'game' may sell in droves due to it's novelty value if it isn't too highly priced.

I'd love to know how many copies of Noby Noby boy sold... and wonder how many it would have sold at twice the price.

Why does that not surprise me?

I wonder if there's a video share feature, when you can upload your videos of you 'playing' with your pet
