i think the album will do ok, it won't go straight to no.1, because it's out the same week as the new Muse album, i think it will go top 10 but not sure how long it will stick around, depends how good the next few singles are.

I predict top 5 or 3. Overall sales: 300,000 which qualifies for platinum. Perhaps dipping into 400,000 - 500,000

If he stays in the public eye for the rest of 2009, I think it will sell around 100/200k with another two hit singles.

That would be very hard to do, since album sales are very low this year. That's why i said 30k.

Last week, MJ was #1 but only sold 25k. PA will not get to number one though and will probably be low top 10 at best. Weekly, songs that chart around the low top 10 will sell barely 10k.

After listening to the clips on Amazon I am very impressed......impressed enough to pre-order it (it is already at No 5 in their pre-release chart), so I think it will surprise a lot of people and sell really well. I absolutely love Unconditional - top 5 single material

Round 1: Public sympathy - Pete wins

Round 2: The release of a book or single - Katie wins

Round 3: Tv ratings - Pete wins

What's gonna be round 4?

He has lots of devoted/obsessional fans who will buy multiple copies.

Im hoping that it wont even chart if so no higher than #20 then he can realise no one likes him so he can fuk off back to the "gyms and business he runs in LaLa land"

it's so easy to sit here and be sceptical just because it's Peter Andre, and i won't be buying the album either, unless i hear some of the songs and like them a lot, but some people i know who have bought it have said it's better than expected.

i usually couldn't care less for critics' reviews but nevertheless i'll be interested to hear what some of them say about it, when i get round to looking.

Considering he is outselling Jay Z and Pixie where one is a huge US rapper and one has had two number 1 hits, that says something.

Personally, i do believe people are buying it because they like pete but probs have no intention of listening to music. People will be like "i'll buy it cos i like him". But if you like him, do you like his music. There is a difference.

I'm pleased it has reached No 2. I just saw Peter on Jonathan Ross and he is genuinely humble, so pleased that people have bought his album. He worked really hard on it, he deserves some success. I have ordered it, expected it to arrive in the post today as it has been sent but of course there are delays because of the strike in my area this week.

l listened to it as a straight music record, forgetting the leadup etc, and found it quite an enjoyable/slick record. 7/10, better than expected definetely, and must admit, I quite like the bloke.
