Appreciation of Joe McElderry goes here! I'm very impressed by his first audition and can definately see him being in the live finals. I imagine he'll be a big hit with the teenage girls.

He was amazing! I saw him at bootcamp and he'd gotten even better in my opinion! He's defo one of my faves so far!

Sam I saw him at bootcamp too

we got to talk to him after aswell, he was lovely. I thought he was amazing there and it was good he did something different than the majority of the boys..I didn't agree with Simon's comments..

I've seen your video before, but would like to see it again if you don't mind?

I hope he doesn't go down the David Archuleta route - i.e 'predictable ballad' singer, teen artist.
I hope he does something more adult contempary instead. He certainly has the potential. He obviously has a great voice to do ballads but not the, as i said, predictable or cliched ballads (SOTR, Imagine).

I think he is a huge contender. Good image, seems a nice lad, great voice and the girls will love him.

I absolutely LOVE his voice. It reminds me of Gareth Gates' voice! It's so smooth and relaxing. I miss the good old days of pure pop songs/ballads. I actually hope Joe does something similar to what Gareth's first album sounded like... But maybe that's just me! lol

Thanks for that, but was wondering if you had a longer version of when he sang Dance with my father in front of the 4 judges or did I take you up wrong? It looked like it was edited but maybe it's the full thing - just thought u had been referring to 2 videos...

No sorry, that's the only video I have of Joseph!
Its the only song he sang the day I went to see them at Bootcamp.
I wish I could somehow find a longer version of 'Dance With My Father' but I wasn't at the Manchester auditions...

Anyway, I'm really excited to here more of Joe, he's got a really sweet voice and seems like a genuinely nice guy. Hope he makes the live shows.
