Anyway, it premieres September 17th and here is the cast...

Probst didn't like JT as much as he loved Coach :P

Normally Probst is right in the way he builds up a season. Gabon he didn't build up because it actually wasn't THAT good; Micronesia I think he was concerned about peoples' reaction to the pre-merge (which was very good but a lot of popular people went).

I've almost forgotten about Samoa with the excitement over Survivor 20. Bring it on!!

I really didn't like JT or Coach, especially Coach. But I'm halfway through Tocantins atm. Hopefully Samoa will be better, plus I loved Gabon.

The TV Guide preview is available and worth a watch. I'm very excited about this season actually. It looks like there is a great cast and it doesn't look like anyone there will just hand the game to someone as has been the case the last two seasons.

A few things about the game this year (I'll put in spoiler tags for those who don't want to know)

spoiler:
No Exile Island this year, but it looks like they are doing something similar to Survivor China for the hidden immunity idols. There is one HII at each camp but the survivors will only get the clues for the HII from the other tribes camp. I'm guessing they may be doing the kidnap twist then

There is a way of bypassing tribal council this year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sewGvQJ3aI. Someone has commented on a treasure island twist - I'm not sure what that might be...

That "bypassing tribal council" thing was just a joke.

Jeff doesn't seem quite as excited about this season as he did Tocantins. That might be a good thing because usually the seasons Jeff loves (Cook Islands) aren't as great as he makes out, whereas seasons that he doesn't make much of a fuss over can turn out really good. For example he didn't think too much to Gabon, but as he now says himself, fans preferred that season a lot more compared to Tocantins.

Samoa could be good, I just don't like how they are building everything around

I hate when they say 'the biggest... ever'. Remember Fiji, with 'the biggest backstab ever' or someting like that. And remember how Fiji turned out.
