New thread!

I take it the Coronation St figure wasn't adjusted this time, judging by the share?

Thanks. I suspected as much, but it's not always easy to tell.

Good for EastEnders on Thursday, great share, decent rating and a strong BBC3 performance.

Nice to see the second Emmerdale continuing to do well.

It's great Emmerdale is doing so well in the later slot, they should think about making it the same for other days. Although that would involve a few clashes with Eastenders I guess.

Friday 28th August 2009
19:00 - Emmerdale: 5.5m (31%)
20:00 - EastEnders: 7.6m (37%)

Highest Friday rating for EastEnders in a while. Meanwhile, Corrie's replacement: Super Cup, got just 1.8m (9%).

The BBC did well with 5.2m (29%) for a reapt of my family at 730pm.

Good for Eastenders friday

Decent figures for EastEnders on Friday Night.

Emmerdale not doing that well at all. Maybe because they didnt have Coronation Street on after it.

I hope that ratings for EastEnders are on the higher side this week with Lucas/Trina Storyline twist and Sam's return.

May be one of the better Friday ratings for eastEnders recently but they always seem to get fairly poor figures on Thursdays and Fridays these days. With Strictly running on Fridays for 1st two weeks this year I would hazard a guess that BBC will try the vacated Wednesday 7:30 slot for EastEnders for a couple of weeks and may move it permanently if it does well.

You cant just add the figures up like that, the 1.5m was the AVERAGE for the 2hr slot yesterday, Mondays ep could have lower or higher than that, plus BARB dont added repeats!!!

Decent for EastEnders on Friday night.

The only repeats I'd consider adding is the BBC3 repeat as it's in a fixed time slot and adds a considerable amount of viewers which shouldn't be ignored. The BBC3 repeat is frequently the most watched multichannel show of the day.

The Break Down for all the channels shows Eastenders was higher in the first 30mins or so.

Yes maybe not But the reapt's still there
it shows that people want to watch when they feel like it not 730/8pm at night

If BARB ever does add reapt's then Eastenders would be out on top everytime as it all ready gets more reach then anyother soap and who knows when everything goes digital will reapt/Iplayer ratings be added?.

Iknow people that like to watch all the episode back to back on a sunday rather then in the week
as they can do other things with their evenings and i suspect loads of other people do that too
watch it as a family when eating their sunday dinner

Not at the moment they dont but they used to and I'm sure I read somewhere that they might be moving back to that system again in the future.
