I watched the show and was very impressed.

Lots of criticism about it, but really enjoyed it

Only read about this yesterday and though i'd give it a go since i've got nothing else to watch on sunday nights.

quite intruiged that it's basically a 13 episode self contained story as well.

we shall see ...

I watched the whole series a couple of months ago over 4 nights. I can whole heartedly recommend this series. Quite different to some of the other US series that come out.

It just finished on RTE... slow starter but worth the ride. Gonna watch again just to watch certain characters and of course in HD!!

Caught the first two episodes tonight. I first saw it advertised over a week ago and was very interested. Then I read the review on DS and it put me off a bit. Still watched tonight though. I'm not very impressed but will give it a chance. It seemed a bit like the Final Destination franchise with less plot to it to me. People were being murdered and nobody seems to notice anyone missing (Bar the uncle.) and there seemed to be no reason for it, no intrigue. However, like I said I'll give it another go.
Btw, I missed who got killed under the boat and how, I just saw the blood and head. Could anybody tell me what happened there please?

it was
spoiler:
Trish's cousin Ben, they were waiting for him to show up in the beginning, that's why the boat was a bit late. He was tied to the rudder breathing via scuba. Then when the boat started up the propeller chopped him to bits.

i haven't read that spoiler, but why would you assume people would want to know who did it ?

people are obviously just watching it at UK pace so why post that?

i really don't get it ..

The poster just said who was killed under the boat, not who is the murderer, I can see why you would think that though.

Hmmmmmm

I'm half way through episode 2 on iplayer and I'm struggling to keep an interest. It feels very 'teen' horror, all sudden surprises and banal conversations.

Give me an episode of Dexter any day of the week. I'll watch the 3rd episode to see if improves.

Not sure why this thread is in the cult section.

I was answering Kittycat who asked which 'victim' was under the boat and how they died. Why would you assume that I revealed who did it?
I spoiler tagged it for people who have sky plussed it and not watched it yet, that's all

I think the problem was you said "it was", like you were going to say who the murderer was, thats what I thought you were going to say before I read the spoiler and if I hadn't already seen the series I wouldn't have read it either and have thought the same as Jason.

I've been looking forward to this basically because I will watch Elaine Cassidy in anything. I am very glad that she appears to be the main character because so far the other characters haven't particularly interested me at all, in fact most of them are a bit too 'Hollywood glamourous' for my liking and I can't see myself being too bothered if/when they all get bumped off! I will keep watching for Cassidy of course!

I didn't realise that this was being shown on BBC3 so soon and ended up watching them all on Saturday... I loved it and was so gripped that I ended up staying up til 4am because I kept going 'just one more'

I think I'm going to watch at BBC 3 pace so I can keep up with the thread and discuss it without accidently spoilering anyone.

Poor Cousin Ben though - how evil was it to have the scuba tank there so that he'd know he was going to get chopped to bits. Think Uncle Marty got off kind of lightly in comparison - speaking of which - I was totally shocked that he was one of the first to die, I really expected him to stick around for longer.

Oh and a hint for anyone wanting to avoid spoilers - don't go looking up what else people have been in on IMDB as it tells you the number of epsiodes that person appeared in so you know if they make it or not.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes and will be watching next week to see who's being dispatched next and how it's going to happen.

Plus I thought Abby's ex boyfriend fisherman was fairly easy on the eyes...

Not sure about it. Seems like on of those American soap opera so far with a couple of murders chucked in. Hopefully it will pick up when they start to find the bodies.

It's ok I wouldn't be that spiteful! I think doing something like that is just mean.

i watched it in HD and enjoyed it. Not gonna be in my top 10 of all time but at least its something good before the week starts.

The only thing that spoils it is that its very American.
Its like OC meets 90210 meets Hollyoaks.

The cigar smoking dad of the bride to be has a terrible wig on and HD only enhances that!!

The reviews in the states did generally improve as the show went on. The first handful of episodes were just a bit 'messy' when it came to what it was being sold as and what those episodes largely contained.

I thought the British boyfriend of one of the blondes was a bit stereotypical
