Hollyoaks - Des (new teacher)

He's only been in a few episodes so far (and I've no idea if he's going to be a regular or just used to move a bit of plot along - someone enlighten me?) but I like him!

The show has gone downhill lately to the point where I have little enthusiasm to watch but it was nice to have a new face who seems like a sweet character and a decent enough actor. It was good to see Jacqui having something more positive to focus on for a change - if only for a few moments!

I sort of know the actor (cousin of a friend) and the word was that he was going to be in it for a while.....apparently!!

Nice to see the school has two teachers now and Des seems OK but why Jacqui? Hardly his type I would have thought (or Tony's!)

I know I keep banging on about getting some more mature characters but a few new teachers and lecturers would give a much-needed chance to bring in some more parental types - they could even have kids!

He looks related to Tony and Dom, they have similar features.
