Wade beat Taylor 6-4 in the Final of Group 1 today. Taylor hit a nine-darter in the group stages.

Hahaha

Hayden, talking of your length of service, did you know you were the first person I ever spoke to on DS? We were discussing a Belle And Sebastian album

Couple of decent matches underway at the moment with Lloyd vs King and van der Voort vs Walsh. Unfortunately we have Pearson and Harrington commentating on each match respectively so the mute button has been well and truly utilised!

I would have guessed a third person may be involved along the line: only heard Harrington and Pyke in the matches I have watched, and though it must be a long day for the two of them if it was just them!

Who else commentates then?

Horrible day for Kevin Painter as he lost all SEVEN of his games in the Championship League today. Peter Manley also crashed out.

Mardle beat Osborne 6-3 in the final which included a 160 checkout and a stylish 94 (18, D18, D20) finish to win the match. Osborne will give it another go tomorrow whilst Wayne joins Wade, Taylor, King and Walsh in the Grand Final.

Very nice. That should be a cracking night TC.

Last year at New Year, I couldnt drink anyway. I had a wisdom tooth out on the 29th Dec so spent the next 3 or 4 days spitting blood and feeling very sorry for myself.

Ouchy. More or less on your birthday too, what a bummer. Yeah, think I'll have my new years eve on new years day provided me and my mate can get tickets, just awaiting his confirmation.... as there was still some available when he went online to book there shouldn't be any hiccups.

Suppose there is a chance that, it being the evenings play, we could well see two one sided Taylor and Barney matches (well, Taylor's anyway), but I'm not too bothered about that, it's just the being there, isn't it?

Colin Osborne beat Jelle Klaasen in today's final. Ovens and Dudbridge crashed out of the tournament.

That was a silly, silly leg to throw away there. Taylor should have been 2-1 down.

Great to see we've got an old forum favourite playing in this tonight, all aboard the Vengabus Wynand Havenga is back! Famously beat Bluto at the worlds a couple of years back.
