*Lark Rise To Candleford Series Two* (part 2)

Evening Straglers

K - As much as I love LRtC, I just don't think I can bring myself to watch GMTV. Unless it is uploaded onto YT and then I only have to watch the clip and not the numpties on the sofa (the presenters K )

TT - Oooh I like VW she makes me laugh.
I'm watching SCD.... lots of lovely long sparkly dresses on some and hardly much covering their a***s on others.

And talking of a***s how can you tell what his job is TT by that pic of his backside

? BM/TT - have one of you started this (I'm impressed) or did the powers above decide enough is enough? Could've renamed as "Series 3 (with spoilers)" LOL.

I can't BM it was just a guess from one of the characters I read in the book...........not that the book had much relevance in S2.

How do I get that b(**£% ad off the script of the top message, it's driving me nuts

The ad at the top is right over the top message script instead of in the corner I can't read it without going into 'quote'

PLUS......everytime I go to post a quote I get connection problems........sometimes the message lists, sometimes it doesn't

Read 'Heatherley' on holidays.......Laura lodged with a family with parents that were always having spats........the father ended up in an asylum after killing his wife

Hi K, we need some gossip! Think everyone this side of the pond is back to school/work with a vengeance after our great summer.

If you search for any 'Lark Rise' on DS, you'll have seen it already, but here's some stuff on ratings:

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...ight=lark+rise
TT you've reminded me to get out Heatherley
Hope the rest of the gang are OK....

Good Morning..wow a temporary home until we can legitimately start a Series 3 thread...is it really nearly October?..where has this year gone.

I cann't believe there have been no leeks/information re series 3, apart from BM finding that picture of Laura.

Well it wont be long before we see some BBC Press Info for LRTC, just been reading the blurb for Emma.

Does that mean that they will have finished filming early for LRTC 3, was supposed to finish in December....'fast turnround' etc being the practical backdrop to tighter financial controls in BBC productions.

Who will have the honour of starting it?

Some of the Extras on LRTC have a Facebook page and I had seen it mentioned a few times there. Series 2 filmed from May 08 to end of November 08, so 6 month shoot seemed right.

I think BBC cut backs may have kicked in and they must have speeded things up...wonder if there are fewer episodes - 10 instead of 12.

That sounds like a plan! I guess at least we'll have something to talk about then! :-)

Glad you enjoyed W Cork - I love it down there, especially when the sun is shining!

and finishing in October?...definitely cut backs by the BBC. I was sure they were scheduled for 12 eps hence 6 month shoot..they may just make 10 I guess, the same as series 1.
