The Disney segment had me rolling.

Plus yet another jab at Robot Chicken, they're like the Rodney Dangerfield of animation.

That was why I hated it originally but then I realised that 8/10 of those cutaways are genius and/or absolutely hilarious!

I absolutely LOVED last night's episode, some of the universes were just brilliant! I especially liked the misleading portrait universe and the low resolution universe, but my favourite was obviously the Disney universe. I think that'll be everyone's favourite!!!

Am I the only one that thought last night's episode was the biggest pile of cack ever? I didn't laugh or smile once (alright, maybe a slight smirk at the "pick up my poo" comment).

Since when has lazily shoving as many film/TV show references into an episode as possible counted as comedy?

It's already been renewed for a second season so it'll be around for at least that long. Hopefully the fact that Fox has done this means that the overall quality will improve from the pilot episode which i thought was lukewarm at best. It just seemed to be Family Guy but with more ethnic jokes, even his friends in the bar were basically copies of Peter, Joe and Quagmire. I'll still give it a few episodes as i didn't warm up to the genius of American Dad until a few episodes in, so hopefully this will be the same.

Though it was a decent episode, I still preferred the American Dad season opener, Vietnam War Re-enactment was just great.

pmsl - yeah that was genius - "ahh - they got both of us!!" hehe

I like looking things up that I don't get at first as well, John Hinckley's sistine chapel ceiling went (literally) over my head until I googled him.

Loved the whole thing - same as others, especially the Disney pie song (bet the ending offended a few Disney executives!).

Wasn't so keen on The Cleveland Show, might be a grower I guess and never have liked American Dad that much.

They walked all over the new Simpsons tho', that's one tired show.

Just watched the new FG and AD, loved them both, especially the new FG (haters be damned! I don't care if you think it's past it's prime, THAT was one funny episode!). The Disney payoff gag had me in stitches, as soon as Mort Goldman appeared in the doorway i knew what was going to happen, lol.

Loved Family Guy .. really laughed my behind off.

Thought the bit where they landed in a field full of fire hydrants and Brian said (i think) "Great!" and Stewie said "No!" and then they landed in a field full of hunky men and Stewie said "Great!" and Brian said "No!".

And the robot chicken universe .. heh ..

Didn't like the Cleveland Show though - apart from the beginning where Lois and Bonnie were kissing and you hear Quagmire's voice .. "heh .. touch boobs"

I think Quagmire was probably the obvious choice for a show, which could well be the main reason that Seth didn't do it.

Although the new Family Guy was poor I thought The Cleveland Show was absolutely dreadful. American Dad was good though, I really enjoyed the Vietnam re-enactment.

Noted that Seth had a dig at the people who complain about it, Brian with a 'Liberal' medallion round his neck and Stewie telling him to "shut the f uck up!!" heh

I thought the new episode of Family Guy was really, really well done. Excellent recreations of all the animation styles. The animation work is not something FG usually gets praised for but I thought it was brilliant work.

It was good but took a while to get going. Not that funny but all the different universes made up for it. Peter singing 'it's a wonderful day for pie!' totally cracked me up. Classic Disney pisstake.
