This Is Most Definitely Not An Appreciation Thread (Part 3)

She needs a couple of labradors and some tartan, she'd be fine then! ![]() I imagine that's how Princess Anne dances, no time for any of that Italian namby pamby dancing, you just get on and do it! Very sensible, very British!

I'm slowly working it out. Example; I know one of the reasons why I can't do with Natalie Lowe thanks to the costume she was wearing tonight. Sheila's Wheels. And the other Natalie is a work in progress.

I was kinda hoping that during Ricky and Natalie's paso, one of the little backstage munchkins (NO, no Chris or Ola), would run onto the dance floor:-
"Ms Lowe, Ms Lowe, there's a phone call for you. It's the 80's. They want their fashion back". tee hee |

Woohoo, I'm the thread starter!
![]() ![]() I panicked for a minute while it was locked though, thinking you weren't allowed to say anything detrimental about either Natalie C or the royal family! ![]()

You'd think Tom would have given us 10 minutes warning to get our coats, hats & handbags sorted out....

And when Brendan was bothering the 80's soft rock drive time classics - 'they want their music back as well'

Tell me about it! After my paltry 20 posts I thought I had managed to commit treason or something; I know it's about quality not quantity (?!) .... relieved to see not about to be dragged off to the Tower. By my hair. By John Sergeant. Or not for that reason anyway.

Ooh, ooh, just remembered another thing I wanted to unappreciate (uh-oh, does that count as splitting infinitives? meh).
Bruce getting at James about his choice of paso music - fair enough, he may not like it, it may not be traditional, but when even the presenters are criticising the dancers, does it not remove the impartiality thing? And I think he then brought it up again when someone was more trad. Irritating. Plus, if I shout any louder "Yes, doddery you ARE!" at the tv, I think I may become an official nuisance neighbour. But he is so doddery. Every time he comes down the stairs and twitches across the stage at the beginning I am waiting for the crack of his hips breaking. Erm..... hope that wasn't too vitriolic. But the man bugs me. Fine, he may have once been a "legend" (?for presenting some naff games shows? seriously? legend status?) but he now makes uncomfortable viewing. Also, if he says he will not make terrible jokes in between dances and gets our hopes up, then goes ahead and makes terrible jokes anyway, that must be in some way in breach of our inalienable rights? |

You can stay here as long as you like! ![]() I forgot that, I'd drifted off but yes, Bruce stay out of it, you're paid to present not judge! I imagine that James really appreciated Bruce's little nuggets of wisdom!

Oh and I really unappreciate the tweets I get from official SCD person.
Examples "Oh no! The tension, it's Rav & Aliona and Lynda & Darren in the dance off" and "Phew, a tension-packed show. What did you think of Strictly wk 3" I've had to sit on my phone for the last half an hour so I don't tell them exactly what I thought! ![]() Nice messages from Joe saying thank you though. He's such a polite, well brought up boy (with 2 left feet )

Oh my....my,my....
Lynda looked like a prim head mistress dancing with a waiter from the local taverna.
MRSA and Ola - like two overexcited kids in a playground, but great music. Tommy Vaize in fine form. Zoe and James have chemistry & a great partnership. Hate the beard. Lumpen Natalie with her silly expression and flat hair. Friggin' disaster zone. Go away babe. ![]() Flavia and the idiot boy. Dress was vile. I know, so shoot me, but Ricky W is magnificent. I don't have to like him to say that, but Natalie's frocks are a fright. She also looked vaguely demented in that paso. The Welsh Dresser and Kristina? She does the work, he trails behind. I feel very sorry for him. He's a lost kid on the block. Silly dance moves too. Get a grip Barbie. Laila was exquisite. Anton was not, but she's stopped trying as hard. Pity. I want her earrings! Jo, the Woodstock Fairy - train wreck. Brenda just carries her about. Daffy duck in bad frocks. Why does Tuffers hair always look dirty? Eurgh! He's revolting. Craig is the only judge worth listening to these days. Ho, hum. Rav out? I felt so sorry for him tonight. Not because he's out but because his silly partner could not choreograph properly for him. Vain bint with the bad dye job. Selfish that. He's learning FFS! Ali was very good but she's also very dull. Brian is a star. |
