Never heard of it, never seen it, couldn't care less. By the way, if you are dyslexic sorry, but it is does, not 'dose'. Dose means something completely different.

Yay that's the best news I've heard all day!! Thanks a lot for that dude!

You would think they would've learned from the mistake that was ITV Play and the subsequent furore about premium 'interactive' quiz phone lines. Who owns the channel anyway? Wasn't it Five who owned and showed Big Deal originally or was I dreaming that?

No need to be sorry you can't help being ordinary ... after all dyslexics are more intelligent than ordinary people...

Ah I see thanks for the correction, they all seem the same to me now. Garish colours, annoying music and sound effects, plus the painfully annoying presenters with no personality.

There is nothing to suggest The Big Deal could close. At the rate this guy is going, I can see him getting banned very soon. What exactly does he contribute to this forum other than spamming it with nonsense threads and silly one sentence posts followed by a couple of smilies??

This channel is deleted from my telly anyway.

Quizcall has been withdrawn

unfortunly a lots of people are getting confused it is Quiz Call that used to link to Five US and Five has been withdrawn untill further notice. That why Fiver has taked over Supercasion.com(not on Freeview) Freeview has it own channel and Five as well

I don't thing Big Deal will closed down yet

Link goes to a login page. Whether it's members only content or a thread hived off to the moderators area, i'm not registering to find out.

Predictable result though, only services with a national terrestrial slot are viable. With the prizes so low even the national lottery must have looked a more appealing bet.

As this is from the same 'talent' behind Grab A Grand the sooner this crap is gone the better.

As far as I'm concerned, these channels should be using up valuable terrestial space.

Same with the sex channels.

Enough room on satellite - not just Sky - for subscribers to get their fix if they've got money to waste.

I admit to being a gambler, but there is a limit.

If the on screen call numbers are correct, ie 10 calls a minute maximum, then that is obviously not enough revenue to fund a TV studio with Freeview carriage. As Big Deal only launched in July 2009 and has changed LCN in August, I would have thought that Square 1 would give it a good 6 months before pulling the plug.

It may be that they get some new viewers since national retune day when some would have got Big Deal for the first time. I hope it survives as it is an innocuous use of off peak time. I'd rather see this type of quiz channel on Freeview than gambling or slapper channels.

hi guys. not sure if many of you follow Ben Baldwin on Twitter. just thought i'd update you on what he's been tweeting these last few weeks. (from most recent)

* Okay folks looks like the fun of the television phone in has worn off, people just aren't calling anymore.

* In case you havn't noticed The Big Deal has the same team as MYP and I am currently working behind the scenes on the show.

* Make Your Play IS coming back. It will be on the same channel as The Big Deal sometime in the new year.

now it hasn't been confirmed if this is the ACTUAL ben, although he doesn't tweet an awful lot so i'm guessing it is him. let me know if anyone thinks otherwise and i'll unfollow this terrible fake. ;p
byeeeeee.

This is from an other site i hope it not true MYP was not run by Square 1 was it like big deal is i which there would use the spaces for better channel to give freeview viewer more choices

Dose this mean MYP will take over from big deal?

Isn't eurosport owned by the same people who own five.

And Eurosport had a license on freeview wasn't it LCN 33 before

no I looked into this Five is the RTL Group, whilst Eurosport is TF1 Group, guess it could be a joint venture, but im not sure why Eurosport feel the need to partner with Five.

actually lets be honest no one would miss the Create & Craft / Russia Today / The Big Deal stream if it went away, its a poor use of space, and Mux D would benefit in terms of picture quality if it was shut down.
