I have a feeling this years christmas number one is going to be VERY exciting.

I dunno. I don't find it overwhelmingly great to be honest. I just think it's the sort of thing that you'd expect from a good first audition on the X-Factor or whatever. It doesn't have enough emotion in it for me. In other words, she's not getting in to the song enough for my liking.

leona and cheryl do not have xmas releases scheduled as far as i have researched. cant find anything about alex burke. i personally wish they would all just sink into oblivion

I surprisingly love the Susan Boyle track, not something I'd normally listen to or buy, but I think it's pretty good.

I really fail to see how anything involving Boyle, Cole, the bland chick who won lasts years X-Factor and whichever uninspiring person wins this years can be described as "exciting".

People do realise that this is a ROLLING STONES song. She just made it a lot worse. Mick Jagger sings this a whole lot better.

I always listen to the Rolling Stones version SB's version is soooo boring with that piano, give me the guitars backing any day!

This is a Stones classic, and although she makes an okay attempt, it becomes merely another talent show type song.

The people who like this type of stuff will buy it, and forget it soon, whereas Stones fans are still enjoying the original.

I have a version by Debbie Harry which is better than Boyles too.

Why cannot we have a an xmas song at number one instead xfactor karaoke singers.

These prats have about 5 hours of free primetime advertising every weekend now we have to put up with this crap on the radio.

Pet Shop Boys release It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas on December 14th as part of their 'Christmas' EP. Come on people, lets have a proper Christmas song at No.1 this year instead of some crappy X-Factor cover version!!!

The Boyle version is clinically soulless .....

The Stones version is the best of course, but Labelle did an interesting cover way back in '71 ..... naturally, it had "soul" .....
