And the video is supposedly being premiered on VH1 this weekend. Seems kind of weird and I doubt it's true since the only source in Wikipedia.

Re UK Radio, the drop from #25-#47 doesn't really explain what is happening underneath the surface:-

Code:
Date Position Spins	%+/- AI (m)	%+/-
13/09/2009	58 538 13.423
20/09/2009	45 765 +42% 15.984 +19%
27/09/2009	54 941 +23% 14.227 -11%
04/10/2009	25 1,026 +9% 22.470 +58%
11/10/2009	47 1,123 +9% 15.820 -30%
Its still progressing nicely - and we're still a whole 4 weeks away from release.

The AI associated with the Radio 1 add, and the Radio 2 Record of the Week, didn't kick in until today, and will therefore only be factored into the Radio Chart for this week, so I expect it to shoot up to at least the #20 position on Sunday.

In terms of the negative AI, this is normal and can probably be almost wholly associated to what Radio 1 and Radio 2 are doing with the track at any point. Just because the track was added to R1 today, doesn't mean that R1/R2 haven't been playing it until now - its probably been played a number of times 2 weeks prior but wasn't played much last week - hence the negative AI. Other high profile stations may have followed a similar pattern.

I'm not overly concerned now - its progressing nicely.

Radio support in the UK isn't the be all and end all, as it almost always is in the UK, but it is also equally unlikely for any act to get into the UK top 10 without any R1/R2 support - JayZ's ESOM did through a Jonathan Ross performance, but other than that I'm struggling to remember a record this year achieving that feat. Therefore R1/R2 support is crucial, although maybe less so for Leona given her massive profile and the X Factor performance.

R1/R2 support for Leona will be more crucial for single #2 which will not be backed by an X Factor performance, which makes candidates such as IGY and OMH perfect.

Part 16 already!? Wow, we never stop talking.

Long live LLAT!

Glad Happy has made the top 40 and I really like the Jason Nevin's remix.

'happy' slipped down to #47? :O

Someone should be having a word with the stations... it worked for Cheryl. Forget overplaying they should be whoring this song out non-stop.

Nothing confirmed yet but apparently it's premiering on the 17th of this month on VH1. Don't quote me though.

OMG CANNOT WAIT FOR Leona's X-Factor performance. Alex was AMAZING BUT I didn't particularly get goosebumps which I get from Leona. There's like 3 weeks left now ? Woop woop. And also OMG can't wait for the video. I also cannot wait for the book. I will defo get it. Is there any book signings in Manchester by chance?

Ah, I actually made enquiries about whether there would be any extensions to the book signing, say Manchester, Birmingham etc., but unfortunately there were no plans to do so. I think we can safely say it will only be for London Town. Sorry!

What time would be a prudent time to arrive at Waterstones to queue on Wednesday? Anyone been to a high profile book signing before?

I really want to get this book. I'll pop into WHSmith on Thursday, do you think they'll have it there ?

What is the book going to be set out like ? Is it like a proper auto-biography. Or like a picture book with just pictures, and bits of writing with some of them ?

It wasn't that long ago since the last chop of this thread.

And the video is premiering soon? I hope so, but if the only source is Wiki then I shouldn't bother getting my hopes up - but I will anyway.

11 am /12 pm, Spiidey.

I've never been to a high profile book signing but I have been to a Johnny Depp premier. Obviously Johnny is more known but I reckon you'd have to be there a few hours before.
