I have met DT and got a napkin signed for my nephew - he was lovely and really friendly (even after i made a bit of a fool of myself lol)

Seen most of the DW and TW cast walking around Cardiff but never thought it was appropriate to go and approach them when they are out shopping or having lunch etc

Other than that i have met JB, Eve Myles, GDL and RTD at official signings

I met Sylvester McCoy after his performance in Little Shop of Horrors in May. He was lovely, and had a lot of time for the fans who'd waited for him.

Ive had an autograph from Peter Davison (MY Doctor lol), although admittedly, it was a friend who got it when i wasnt around, but they knew who he was and asked him.

Ive also been in the same bookshop as Paul McGann, but i was too nervous to go up to him... i was 12 at the time and they'd only just aired his movie.

John Barrowman was in town the other day for a book signing at Waterstones, but I couldn't be bothered to join the queue so just went shopping instead.

I met David Tennant in studio 4 at Television Centre back in March this year, whilst at the 'Top of the Pops' Comic Relief Special.

He was such a nice bloke and I felt quite proud to be standing next to my hero live on BBC2!!!!!

I met Peter Davison when he was the Doctor. I remember him being fairly polite and friendly. I've also met Elizabeth Sladen, who reassured me it was OK to watch The Sarah Jane Adventures at my age I met Eve Myles last year and she was really lovely. I also met John Barrowman who was again lovely and friendly.

Though he did go down a bit in my estimation for his comments on CE, especially after seeing how utterley wonderfull he was towards his fans.

Although JB is JB and i don't think any nastiness was intended.

I've met both THE Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy outside the Lyceum theatre in Sheffield after productions of "Strangers On a Train" and "Me and My Girl". They were both very nice and considering there were some real DW mentallists waiting there (some of whom I don't even think had been to see their shows), they were gracious and took time to talk and sign things. I asked Colin if he would return to the show and he said something along the lines of: "I don't think they'd ever ask me! Look at me these days!" which made me smile.

I also saw Christopher Eccleston stalking through Soho once just around the summer between S1 and "The Christmas Invasion". My other half wanted to follow him and ask him for a picture/autograph but I was so starstruck and fearful of him being grumpy (understandably since he wasn't doing anything actory at the time) that I suggested otherwise. Big regret, that one.

I collect DW autographs, and have met loads of DW actors. I've been to a few signings and conventions, and spend a bit of time loitering outside theatres.

I've met Tom Baker at a couple of signings, and he's as mental as his public image suggests. We discussed nudity and camels.

I've not met Peter Davison, but always have the impression that he doesn't "get" us fans. He's a bit aloof and distant. Not met him though.

Colin Baker is a King. No two ways about it. (The night I saw him in Strangers on a Train, part of the set fell down. Colin didn't bat an eyelid. What a trouper!).

Sylvester McCoy can be a bit prickly. A couple of times I've met him and he's been all smiles, but a couple of times he's been very brusque.

My boyfriend got Matt Smith's autograph for me, when Matt was onstage in That Face, in London last summer. Before he was cast as DW.

As for companions:

Billie looked terrified, as she was surrounded by fifty fans at my local theatre in the play Treats, a couple of years back. (It was quite an adult play, with sex, swearing ansd domestic violence, and there were loads of kids int he audience because of her DW connection. it was very inappropriate).

Catherine Tate was quiet but polite when she signed for me at the RSC.

I've met John Barrowman three times, and he's been progressively less smiley on each encounter (but still pleasant).

Noel Clarke was shocked to be recognised (though he was at a literary festival discussing his writing work, so he shouldn't have been at all surprised. After all, people had bought tickets to see him).

Anneke Wills (charming), Debbie Watling (bonkers), Louise Jameson (could not be more lovely), Mary Tamm (reminiscing about Brookside), Sophie Aldred (very welcoming), Nicholas Courtney (The Brig!), Katy Manning (mad as a hatstand), William Russell (bearded), Jean Marsh (reminiscing about Hitchcock), Frazer Hines (eye for the ladies), John Leeson (K9!), Nicola Bryant (appearing in a crap play), Bonnie Langford (delightful), Lynda Bellingham, Nick Briggs, Adjoa Andoh, Daniel Hill, Pauline Collins, Kate O'Mara, etc etc etc.

People are usually very happy to be asked for an autograph, in my experience.

I met Peter Davison at a convention earlier this year. He was more reserved during the signing than some of the other guests were, but really came into his own on the panel, which he shared with Mary Tamm and Sophie Aldred - great stories and the best guest I have seen at responding to children. Lots of kids were at that panel and wanted to ask questions and he really took his time and explained everything thoroughly without sounding as though he were dumbing things down for them. It was nice to see so many children interested in asking about Classic Who stories.

I used to do conventions in the 90's, often helping with security - so I've been lucky enough to meet a fair few luminaries of the classic series.

The late Anthony Ainley was a true gent and I 'looked after' him for an afternoon of authograph signings. Also, Jon Pertwee was a very nice fellow, despite a 'grumpy' reputatuon and I witnessed him ensuring that a wheelchair bound young fan got an opportunity to meet him without all the cueing.

Colin Baker is a true gent an always has time for the fans, Peter Davision the same - even at the stage door after a night's work.

Sylvester McCoy also deserves a special mention for being gracious enough to allow two enthuiastic fifteen year old fans to interview him whilst doing a signing panel at 'Space Adventure' in '89. Those were the days!

More like that the exhibition at Lands End is shite and I bet that the company who run it would charge even him to go in. You can tell that I begrudge paying to see part of the coastline that ought to be free!

I have also met Christopher Eccleston but to amazed by it to talk. He (and Billie Piper) signed my nephew and my godsons's autograph books and were both very kind, patient and more than happy to chat to the children. Very impressed, unlike John Barrowman who didn't seem to have the same level of patience with the little 'uns.

Passed Peter in a car park, said "Hello" as I sort of recognised him, he said "Hello" back. Didn't really realise who it was until it too late.

No, it has been asked in several other threads. Tinny's name is Amy and she signs with her initial and a kiss.
