I got bored of it pretty quickly. Why go on a food show if you are that closed minded to food? Sorry, forgot she was plugging her book.

but surely there is a balance between comedy and politeness?

It's not comletely her fault though. It seems as if they don't do much research at all apart from the Heaven/Hell and what they are plugging.
On Daily Cooks they have a list of the guests likes & dislikes.

I can't see why they can't do something similar on SK as several times they have had veggies on and they can't try the meal at all. The same with SFTW.

The only time I've seen when they've catered with vegetarians is when Dave Spikey was on, other times the guest hasn't been able to try the food.

Phill Jupitus this morning is pretty irritating so far. First he only answered questions by muttering into his coffee cup, then he proceeded to eat the first dish while the guests had to sit next to him and watch. Maybe he's got a hangover (apart from his gut).

As I've not seen him since his appearance on "Strictly" I'm surprised how fat James Martin now is.

Could be due to him only getting a mouthful of food instead of a whole supermarket

Most chefs end up resembling the Michelin Man - too busy eating their own creations.

I'm really enjoying the show today. I'm vegetarian and the recipes so far have been lovely.

I hope Joss Stone gets Food Heaven - halloumi is my absolute favourite

I liked the fact that they specifically prepared veggie dishes. It's only happened a couple of times AFAIK. Other times veggie guests have been given a seperate plate or even just picked around the meat on the plate.

I'm not a veggie myself but if you are going to invite a guest on and cook for them you have to take into consideration some of their foody habits.

It was strange seeing Joss Stone again. I can't say i've seen or heard about her for a while. I'm sure she used to have a fatter nose and was not as ...erm... taut. Also she has really squinty eyes. It seemed that only when she pushed her hair back she opened her eyes fully.
