Anyone else really looking forward to this? I love Robbie Coltrane and Cracker was an absolutely brilliant series. Hope this lives up to my expectations.

It will ultimately be compared the the fantastic Cracker, but I already know it can't be as good.

Cracker is still the best British drama of all time as far as I'm concerned.

Will definitely be checking this out though, just wish McGovern and Coltrane would work together again.

No no no, whatever you do don't compare dramas like that. People always end up being disappointed when they compare. It happened with Wuthering Heights. I just watched it as a drama and loved it, other people kept comparing it to previous versions and kept moaning.

Just enjoy the drama for what it is.

I saw the advert for Murderland last night, and at one point (before they announced the prog name) there was smoke drifting across the picture - really made me think it was going to be a new installment of Cracker!

I'll be watching tonight, hope it's as good as it looks!

BTW do any of the freeview channels run Cracker repeats? I'd really like to watch it again

Really? I thought it made it look like some Saturday teatime fantasy show. Half expected them to refer to him as Hagrid. Will give it a go anyway as I do like Tubby Robbie.

So far looking interesting. I like that we see the drama unfold from 3 different points of view.

The girls reaction wasn't what i was expecting when she saw her mum.

Just saying 'She promised she wouldn't wear the dress' was a bit weird. But i guess everyone reacts to death different.

I also like the fact we will see the drama from 3 different view points. As long as this type of thing is done well it can look brilliant.

Really not enjoying the acting in this and the editing during the interview with the girl after her mum died was awful.

I missed the beginning 20mins or so....can someone just tell me what happened. The girl doesn't seem overly upset about her mothers death, did they not have a good relationship??

God i wasn't expecting that twist. But then again i'm never good at guessing the killer so everyone else might have figured it out

Loved it though, will be watching the other two episodes. Looking forward to see how they do the different view points.

I thought the girl was fantastic in the role, must be watching different shows!

Absolutely loved tonights episode, can't wait for next week.

There's an odd attraction between Carrie and the detective though, not sure if that's me being a bit of a cynic but there's something there.

I'm enjoying it very much. If 'enjoying' is the right word.

It felt anxious and frantic - very tense, and interesting. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

I thought the child was pretty good.

I mist the first few minutes but they seemed quite close but the girl was a bit unsure of what her mum was up to. She was very upset and shocked but now she's got a tad obsessed!

From the Coltrane character and the victim, I think.

Maybe there's another twist and Robbie isn't really the killer? I hope so.
