Sky Player - It's here!
Downloaded the software onto my Xbox this morning.
However, the service appears to be down at the moment, obviously a Sky problem as I can't access it on my PC either! |

Same here, you would have thought Sky would have been a tad more prepared

Sky Mobile TV seems to be down also, so obviously a big problem at their end!

The Sky Player website and Mobile TV are now both working, so hopefully it should be working on the Xbox soon.

It's now working. Looks as though sky news is a free to view sample channel.

Ah great. Since I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 and thus "changed" my Sky Player registered device I cannot add the Xbox as a registered device because you can only make 1 change per month.
Ridiculous. |

I'm having exactly the same problems as you, is it worth giving Sky a call?

Yeah I guess. Can't really stomach waiting on hold for a hour just to talk to someone who has no clue what I'm on about though

Wow, this really is having a bad day isnt it!
I'm in no rush to use it, so I will hang fire, and keep checking, but if this is what we're expecting, then I just wont bother LOL |

Piss up, brewery, these 2 comes to mind
![]() You'd think big companies would be better prepared when they have release dates, Sky have messed me up soooo many times I expect it from them now. Looked nice what I was very limited to seeing, certainly really easy to sign in as long as you remember your login details (just about) and of course without the windows 7 complication some have had. Apart from paying for Live I won't knock getting this for free, won't be used though as I have an HD box on the shelf above it. Nice add!!! |

Well, we've got 2 xboxes in the home. This works out cheaper for us, as one is in the bedroom, and we'll now be using it for Sky Player, saves us having to get multiroom.. When it works that is.
