Leona Lewis/Black Eyed Peas-Nov 8 What a double act

This will easily be the best combination act of the series
barring any duets in the final.

It's a shame that Meet Me Halfway isn't as strong as Boom Boom Pow or I Gotta Feeling but it is great to see the Black Eyed Peas in the UK.

I still love their performance to open Oprah's 24th year.

I agree Meet Me Halfway isn't as strong as I Gotta Feeling, but it seems to be just as popular and some people I've read online see it as their strongest track ever.

I think Fergie's part in the track is amazing, possibly her own best, but the raps are just an annoyance as I wait for Fergie to come on again, usually I like both Fergie and the Rap equally.

Will be an excellent show, better than this week anyways.

BEP will HAVE to mime it ... Fergie is such an appalling singer live, she doesn't deserve to be in the music industry.

She wouldn't even pass the first audition on The X Factor.

Whatever.

She'll be more than fine, granted in the faster tracks her vocals suffer a bit, but Meet Me Halfway is slow enough she'll have no need to mime.

I'm looking forward to it.

I've never cared for the Black Eyed Peas much, so I have never bought an album, but starting with I Gotta Feeling, they're getting better. Meet Me Halfway is by far the most mature and likeable track they've ever released as a single (not difficult considering their previous includes intellectual classics such as Don't Phunk With My Heart).

I loved Shut Up which is quite apt for quite a few of the contestants!

Wow thats quite something I never knew she could sing so well. She should do more ballads.

Also:

SuBo on the 22nd.

Probably Rhydian on the 29th.

Neither confirmed but both extremely likely.

SuBo? Seriously? Jeez, when are people going to realise they are flogging a dead horse with this one... or in her case, a dead cat?

Plus I'm not too comfortable with an X Factor/BGT cross-over. Why don't they just wheel Amanda Holden out to do her "actress crying" whenever someone sings well?

This is the first time I'm REALLY looking forward to the Sunday results show. Think I'm looking forward to BEP's more than Leona actually!

BEP are aimed at little kids much more than any of the X Factor finalists/winners. Regardless of how much of a slut Fergie often looks onstage and in the videos!!

For the group performance I think shut up would work well, particulary when they have the girls on the right and boys on the left :P

I'm not a fan of theirs but "Where is the Love" had some great lyrics.
