Sky/Xbox/Multiroom question

Hi everyone,

I'm getting adverts for the Sky/Xbox thing both on Facebook and on Digital Spy, yet can't even use the service due to their aborted launch. Great stuff Sky!

But anyway, in the meantime... does anyone know how they'll police the multi-room if used on Xbox 360s? It's not like it can dial out.

The first Xbox you sign in with's details will be captured - you can off course take your Xbox anywhere and use it - they don't appear to be too worried about ensuring it stays in the same bedroom/lounge/home - I reckon this is because they are marketing the service towards students as well and just like using your laptop anywhere, as long as your paying they are quite happy.

Nope, but it is connected to the internet. You can only watch on one device at a time e.g. Xbox360 or PC.

You actually have two main PC's now and can watch live tv (apart from sky movies or sky1) on either of these two main PC's ie Xbox or which ever PC you log as your main one. You can also watch live tv on a further 3 PC's which I believe are classed as secondary PC's.

They always did worry before, hence the two SKy boxes dialling out from the one location. I'm a little surprised if they suddenly allow the Xbox to circumvent this.

But maybe they think it's not a true Sky experience and won't be abused much.

Thanks
