Clare Nasir GMTV - Hope She and the Baby are ok

Clare Nasir has been off our screens for a while now. She was due to have her Baby over New Years and has been off our screens since September.

I recently read that she was rushed to hospital over concerns for her Baby.

GMTV haven't mentioned her and this makes me think something is up.

There was also a new face on this mornings weather forcast.

I hope all is well as she is one of the nicest people on TV.

Does anyone have any updates??

If anything really bad had happened, I'm sure it would have been in the press or something. Maybe she's been told to take it easy.

Mrs T says she believes that Claire suffers from PCOS PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome, but we both hope that Claire and her baby are ok

I haven't heard any more news about Clare's condition recently. Very sad for her as her struggle to have children has been well-documented.

GMTV never mentioned the saga of Mr Kate Garraway (aka Derek Draper) despite the fact it was on the front page of every national newspaper and all over other channels.

I fear that if it was just a difficult pregnancy that they would of said that ‘’ Claire is having a difficult pregnancy and has taken leave early, we wish her well.

With the problem's she had getting pregnant in the first place I am sure if the worst has happened it will take months to get over it and nothing will be said until she has come to terms with it.

I hope we hear some good news soon that everything is ok with her and the baby.

Why? - thousands of women have pcos and take a long time to get pregnant. Its not that uncommon. Most have healthy babies, but it can be a difficult pregnancy sometimes depending on the severity.

<---- speaking from experience.....

Maybe so but if I was a woman and had what Clare has before getting pregant. I'd not risk my life being pregant again and go to the adoptive agency.

I imagine your comment was meant well, but from personal experience of PCOS and many years of unsuccessful IVF, adoption is often the final resort. It's very hard to come to terms with the inability to give birth oneself.

I'm staying with keeping positive thoughts for Clare & Baby. Agreed that GMTV do tend to keep quiet until after the event.

Funnily enough, I was just thinking this morning that I hadn't seen Clare on screen for a while, it's always Kirsty just now.

I was trying to remember when her baby was due......

Oh, I hope everything is OK for her and the baby, I really do.

Michael Fish was on a couple of weeks ago - i just guessed she had gone on maternity leave early.

Hope all is ok with her and baby to be.

Her husband has a twitter

http://twitter.com/hawkshow/

Seems he has been going to baby scans - but all seems OK and he is quite chipper.

It's not uncommon to have a date planned to start ML and then be signed off early for medical reasons that are not serious but normally just require you putting your feet up and chilling out rather than working.

It's nore than likely what has happened.

I read an article ages ago about Claire I believe she actually suffers from fibroids not PCOS:

Aww thanks for the twitter - it says they were at a scan yesterday and that all is well and that she's 32 weeks. That's great news.

I found out that i have PCOS a couple of weeks ago (although i've known something was up for a while) I'm not in a place where i want to start a family, yet. And i don't think i'll realise the enormity of it till i do because i've always wanted a family. But i don't think its easy for any woman who wants a baby to just go, oh well. I'll just adopt then.

I'm glad her and baby are well
