LFC TV (Freesat From Sky)

Having looked on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freesat_from_Sky it says that LFC TV is apart of the Freesat From Sky package, I went to check and sure enough it is apart of the package here.

I went to the LFC TV website http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tv/lfctv_subscribe.htm and at the bottom it says that LFC TV is free on Sky.

So it looks like Freesat From Sky is slowly getting better,

* Channel 4HD (Sky+ HD box is required)
* Sky3
* Five (also available free to air on different transponder, can be added via 'add channels' on Sky EPG)
* Fiver
* Fiver +1
* Five USA
* Five USA +1
* VIVA
* LFC TV

Were keeping our Sky box because of Fiver/+1 Five USA/+1, VIVA and now LFC TV.

How can sky box stop working? If you mean you cancelled your sub and they encrypted pay channels, your sky box should still work and should still give you all freesat channels + more unless you purchased a Freesat HD box which offers BBC HD & ITV HD

Yes it's the best choice plus you get many FTA channels that Freesat don't have on the EPG. Freesat is only good if you want to record.

Since Food Network is FTA if they launch an HD version that's another FTA HD channel.

Just to add a FTV card will also get you Racing TV Free to View periods/ESPN America. I remember FX HD went FTV a year back. Setanta News was also FTV before administration.

VIVA was a real surprise to go free. It makes no sense since TMF was part of the sky packages. Unless Sky let all Freeview channels go FTV and that would spell disaster for Freesat.
