Sorry, but where's the shame in helping out a friend in his garage? If it was anyone else it wouldn't be reported, but because the press hate Barrymore it's "SHAMED BARRYMORE CAN ONLY FIND WORK AT GARAGE, HAHAHA."

Actually, for the Daily Smear, I don't think this is a particularly hostile article. It suggests that he is well-liked and respected in his modest job.

CBB has always been 50/50 at best as far as long-term advantage is concerned. It was the making of Claire Sweeney, for example, and obviously of Chantelle, but does not seem to have done much for anyone except the top 2 in any series.

Yes I agree, its a kick a man while he is down article, obviously helping out a friend for 25 years. There is no shame in that.

I see nothing shameful or mean about the article either. Far from it actually, even if it was not their intention. Shows a guy getting on with his life. Good to see he didn't crawl back into a bottle. He's keeping busy and spending time around friends all positive things.
