Simon Cowell's Mum drops Sinitta right in it!

Simon's Mum, Julie, has dropped Sinitta right in it in this week's new! magazine. The interview goes like this

Are you in touch with Sinitta?

Julie: Hardly ever. I sometimes see her at the shows. Sinitta certainly got it wrong when she claimed she met Simon when she was 14. Simon was living at home at the time and I know she was at least 17 or 18!

Oops, Julie.

I reckon Sinitta is about 47 now! The naughty thing's telling big porkies !

Honestly I can't say I'm bothered.

All publicity and all that and Sinitta is certainly getting loads of attention atm.

I'm not the biggest Sinitta fan, but I thought it was kind of rude actually.

Well I think Sinitta is great, she has a great sense of humour and the ability to laugh at herself as well. Mrs Cowell comes across as rude - perhaps she feels usurped as the most important woman in her son's life?

I agree on both. Ma Cowell seems a bit petty here. What does she need to be commenting on Sinitta for at all?

She needs to get back to her bridge and leave the bitchy comments to her son.

Oh dear, the spiral of lies unravelled by none other than Mother Cowell!!

Sinitta won't care - all publicity is good publicity when you have a non-career.

Thats exactly it !!! As the great Nikki from BB would say.... WHO IS SHE !!!! WHO IS SHE !!!!!!!

She is a third rate pop singer from the eighties who had a few minor hits and should have disappeared into oblivion a long time ago. Her only grasping claim to showbiz these days is her friendship with Simon Cowell, and boy oh boy is she ever hanging on with a death grip to that association.

Why is she even there at judges houses. She does NOTHING, expresses no pertinent opinion, as if Simon Cowell could not do his job and pick his finalists without SINITTA !!!! being there. PUH LEASE !!!!

Rumour has it she will be donning ice skates next for DOI in the new year. Dear God !!!

I love the part about how Terri wasn't in it at all for the money. Riiiiiight. That's why she ended up with a 5 million dollar home in the deal. To say nothing of the presenting job she probably wouldn't have got on her own.

Maybe this is why Simon's never married? He's a mummy's boy and she sounds like she'd be an interfereing ma-in-law if she can say things like this publicly about one of his exes - particularly one who does seem to be on very good terms with him.

She wants him for herself.

Just maybe Sinitta really is the age she claims to be and she lied when she met Simon because she was underage for clubs (and other things).

It's a thought.

No. She's definately older than she says. That part was amusing, but the part where she basically dismissed Sinitta and all other girlfriends for being golddiggers was really rude.

Though I have to say, I like that she kind of blew holes in the "Simon didn't want to touch young underage Sinitta" story.

Whatever people may say about Sinitta. Simon clearly has a lot of time for her and old ma Cowell obviously doesn't like it. I wonder why?

Mrs Cowell does seem a bit of an old fashioned woman and a tendancy towards what some may call snobbery. Maybe she never thought a girl from a teenage single mouther was good enough for her little prince?
