Taylor(present wife) is pregnant with Nicks ex wifes Brookes eggs and hes got his other ex wife Bridget looking after her ladybits department...

Something is sooooooooooooooo not right about all that lol.

Isn't that the truth! And I dunno about you guys but I simply HATE how everything turns around back to Brooke & the Forrester men always see her as the victim. Everytime poor Taylor's tried making a fresh start, somehow blondie "accidentally" winds up in the middle. Though what's to come on Diva TV in the next 1.5 month, will see Brooke in a totally different light & for once throughout the years of watching the show, I was on her side when I originally watched the episodes in 2007.

You mean in terms of what's airing on Diva TV at present? If you think what you're watching now is worse, you'll be hugely disappointed when the attention shifts to the music element. I've always hated Phoebe's scenes with any character & it became even more intolerable when she was mixing it up with Constantine. This show is about a backdrop of the fashion world after exploring the highs & lows of the Forrester & Logan dynasties. That's why I've said that A LOT of 2007 was a load of BS & 2008 was complete & utter garbage when idiot Brad Bell handed the reins of Head Writer to ex-Y&R Head Writer, Kay Alden who proved to be totally incompetent for 10 whole months.

The other thread is still there, but we can't post on it any more We should congratulate ourselves - DS split the threads up when they get too long!

Loved some of today's episodes, hated other bits. I've always found the music bits in B&B tedious (thank goodness Nick's guitar appears to have sunk with the old Shady Marlin - clever Taylor not replacing the guitar as well as the boat). These Constantine bits are even worse.

Lines I loved today:

Brooke: Shall I mix the eggs
Rick: I think Bridget already did that

Brooke: Nick's giving me my baby back!

Back to B&B, I cant believe im about to say this but - I actually like Kyle Lowder as Rick.. I loath his scenes with Phoebe and the whole music thing but he actually works pretty well with Ashley Jones (Bridget). It wouldnt be the same if it was Justin Torkildsen (sp?) with Ashley or Kyle with Jennifer Finnigen. Justin worked well with Jennifer just as Kyle's working well with Ashley Jones (if you get what I mean). Loved his scenes with her on friday where he was trying to get her to tell Brooke and Brooke looked at him like lol.

One particular line made me laugh out loud
Brooke: Do you want me to help you whip up those eggs?
Rick:I think Bridget's already done that!! (Or something along those lines)

Why oh why did we have to have an extended Constantine and Phoebe pop promo today, with them on a London double decker bus I half expected them to come out of the Kingsway underpass.

However, this did remind me to find and repost this quote from DEACONFAN on the old thread:

NO! This would be the worst thing if it happened cos the show US pace (from where I'm up to so far in early July 2009) is so shit. The only good element is the focus on corporate goings-on between Jackie M & Forrester Creations but there's only so far idiot Brad Bell takes that before he shifts the attention back to the tiring love triangle & "rocky marriage" between Ridge & the teary-eyed Brooke. It's a cycle we've seen far too often & the show is still (least I think, can't be bothered checking) No#2 in the ratings. Poor Felicia & Thorne haven't had any front-row attention for years, they're wasted. I wish Hallmark weren't showing the episodes 1 day behind Diva TV cos it's completely unnecessary. I hoped they would've acquired the rights to the golden era from the early 90s when it went from strength to strength everyday & no storyline was boring or repetitive. Plus I'd love to see how menace Sheila's rein of terror kicked off in LA when she ingratiated herself with the Forresters.

My thoughts exactly Sarah, they turned her into this needy & clingy teenager who needs Rick by her side all the time & what he/Brooke were in the middle of is a lot more important than the stupid blonde needing him to put Constantine's fears about their relationship to rest. Then she tries to make out she's mature & adult-minded. I dunno why Brad Bell ever bought the pathetic 2006 American Idol winner onto the show, he doesn't blend in at all. One of many reasons why 2007 was terrible for the show & 2008 even worse. Carl is geeky who I thought had a crush on Bridget. He was funny as hell when he guest-appeared in My Wife & Kids though.

Part of the renewal deal with DIVA TV was the showing on Hallmark which broadcasts to a larger audience. The production company are hoping that the UK audience will grow. If it does then I am hoping that some good old publicity will be carried out involving some of the cast over here.

What fantastic episodes today. I gather this is going to be the start of the custody battle for Brooke? Stephanie's such a b****. And then onto that awful music competition that Rick suggested today.. I wonder how many more times we are going to hear that awful song that Constantine and Phoebe sings. I never thought im going to say this but, I prefer Nicks songs to Constantines.. Cant wait for the next couple of weeks of Bold, its going to be immense..

Not quite Sarah, there's still a 1.5 week to go until the custody battle storyline kicks-in. If anyone's the bitch, it's the slut who was trying to use her son to lure Ridge back into her bed. Stephanie's had her number from day 1 & this merry-go-round that she & Ridge have been on for Years is still present in today's US pace episodes. WTF is Brad Bell's obsession with Brooke/Ridge? He can never leave these 2 alone once they wind up back together for the gazillionth time. It's a shame him & Ashley call off their relationship in the early November 2007 episodes, which will air on Diva TV in 2.5 months. As for the singing on the show, I hate it period. It gave 2007 a bad name. While re-living some golden memories of the show from my VHS tapes this morning when Jennifer Finnigan played Bridget, Macy, Deacon, Amber & Rick #2 were in it, I realised just how much it's changed from 2007+ & not in a good way either. I wish Kimberlin Brown would reprise her role as vixen Sheila Carter cos she always had me craving for more.

Lol. I never did like Ashley. She acted so sweet and innocent yet she's just as bad as Brooke. Loved it when Stephanie said to her yesterday "Atleast you've never slept with all the men in the family, have you?" She didnt realize how close to the truth she actually was...
