When will C4's homegrown productions go HD?

Does anybody know when the likes of Countdown, Deal or no deal, Channel 4 News will switch to HD cameras?

For example shows like Grand Designs, How Clean is your house are all HD. Do the above production companies not have HD cameras?

It's not about HD Cameras, they can be easily rented from affiliate companies.

The expensive part is getting production companies to switch to HD, which requires major set refurbishments and changes to recording infrastructure.

The aforementioned programs on Channel 4 are obviously filmed on location and therefore don't require sets.
