Sky installation next week - questions - Sky

I'm getting two Sky boxes installed at the end of next week - one will be a Sky+ box and one's a Sky+ HD box.

The Sky+ HD box will be in a second room as a multiroom service.

I have read that the boxes need to be connected to phone lines so they can talk back to Sky to prove both boxes are in the same household.

That is fine, but I am going to have Virgin phone lines and not BT lines - is this going to cause any problems?

A Virgin 'phone line is no problem - that's what I have with my multiroom sub.

Just ensure that both Sky boxes are connected to the same telephone number.

Thanks guys. Just thought I'd check to be on the safe side.

The Virgin Media phone socket in the second room will simply be an extension, so will be the same number.
