just wondering about movie theme - The X Factor

does anybody remember the song when u wish upon a star being sung by a x factor contestant within the last couple of years. i was thinking that this might be a good song for joe.

What does everybody think?

'When You Wish Upon A Star' was sung by Stacey in Big Band week. I doubt they'd use the same song in the same series for different contestants.

Can't remember it having been done - though, personally, feel it's a tad smaltzchy and Cheryl (if there is a mentoring bone in that woman's body) ought to try and move Joe away from sacharine soon or she could lose him support/potential support.

Sweet song, though - and I have little doubt he could do it justice were he to be given it.

/Edit: oops not exactly as memorable as I thought at the time. Though still reckon that was a cop-out for Big Band week.

I was suggesting a song for Lucie in her thread not 2mins ago. Hungry Eyes or Be My Baby from Dirty Dancing.

Won't be Time Of My Life and I don't know any other Dirty Dancing songs as I've not seen the film

In the predictions game I said Footloose. I think it'd suit his style of voice, but would move him away from the sickly sweet stuff.
