Strange flashing light with new EPG?
Got it overnight.
Like it and only have one complaint: I've got a weird flashing light on the bottom right side of the new EPG (bottom third of the right of the screen, about a couple of cm thick) when I'm in the menus. Thankfully it disappears when I'm watching something, though. Anyone else got this strange quirk? |

Update: this 'light' is actually all the way up the right hand side now and appears to be the screen of the last channel I was watching.
It's as if the EPG only fills 98% of the screen. Does anyone else have this? |

Yes I found this occurs if you have overscan on your TV turned off (not always called that, sometimes 1:1 pixel mapping or something similar). You could alter this and it would most likely fix the problem, but then you are cutting off the edges of HD pictures needlessly.
In addition, it only seems to happen when the mini TV is turned off also. Anyway, guess there isn't much we can do so guess it is one of those things to learn to live with. |
