I'm quite excited for this story, it looks like it could be one of those filler episodes but often they turn out to be really great.

It surely will have trouble to live up to the excitment generated by last week episode, but this latest series has proved its quality so far, so there is no reason it shouldn't keep it up !

Someone actually created a thread last week, back on page 3, but it never got off the ground, unsurprisingly.

A pretty good episode, and a nice break away from the usual stuff I think

Weird how there was no Luke in this episode though, probably because Tommy was doing his GCSE's.
I wonder if he'll pop up tomorrow?

I thought it was a great first part. A lot different to the usual SJA stuff, and it was refreshing to have a bit of mystery as well with them being away from Mr. Smith and K-9.

It was weird without Luke though, but I'm guessing it was so Tommy could have some time off for his GCSE's.

I can't wait for the conclusion tomorrow.

I missed the last 5 minutes and the episode won't show up on iPlayer before Nov. 7th
Can anyone send me a PM or spoil tag those last five minutes, please ?

I stopped
spoiler:
when Rani and Clyde were looking for the secret passage in the control room.

They found the secret passage and followed it under the manor and ended up in that Darkman's chamber. He eventually appeared behind them and said that now they'd passed over his threshhold they will never leave.

I must say I really enjoyed this episode, but my 8 year old found it quite scary and watched most of it from behind a cushion.

I enjoyed it once again and I could see how smaller kids would be scared to watch it.

Why wasn't Luke in it? Was the actor doing exams that week or something?

Did anyone else notice that some of the gadgetry was branded "MAGPIE TECHNOLOGY" - nice little nod to the events of "the Idiot's Lantern" in DW.....

spoiler:
and a possible clue to what's going on?

As soon as the stone tape theory was mentioned I thought of this:

Another cracking good yarn from the SJA team: the fact it's written so well by Phil Ford makes me even more excited about the prospects for WOM too...nothing better than a creepy haunted house story in the dark evenings to keep us all entertained. This has to be the strongest series of SJA so far, loving it.

It's already up as of at least an hour or 2 ago? Not just the HD version, but the "normal" version?

Tell your 8 year old they're in good company - I did too!

Really enjoyable episode, SJA seems to be back on the form it had in series one.
