He is spot on they haven't been put out of their comfort zone yet so let's see how they handle a ballad

It's a little unusual that he keeps slagging them off to the press....

Why will they be found out? Everyone already knows they're rubbish. They get the votes because they're entertaining, not because they're good. We're not going to hear them sing a ballad and suddenly think "oh actually they're not really that good."

What's this, the twins can't SING? Oddly, considering i've watched their performances I have cottoned onto that fact.

But still: Call OFCOM!

With friends like Friedman who needs enemies?

How unprofessional.

I don't think Louis is stupid enough to give them a ballad. The only way they'll sing one is if it's ballad week!

They don't ever have to sing a ballad, on rock week Lloyd sung a pop song!

The twins are doing what they do best which is putting on a big noisy performance and making us laugh.

Friedman is pathetic. The real sucess story of the twins is that it shows if you stand up to bullying you can win.

We're getting the impression Brian has criticised them numerous times, but I suspect he's only really spoken about them once and it's being stretched out into lots of small snippets by the press.

He may have said things tongue in cheek too, you know what his manner is like!

It's all just 'banter' to keep them in the press. On an earlier show, Friedman said he loved working with the twins and had never had so much fun.

Indeed - J&E are about the only act this year with whom Brian gets to indulge his creative lunacy to the fullest extent.

They WON'T perform a ballad.

There isn't anything to find out really either. Even their fans don't suggest the Twins can sing. It is all about the "entertainment" they bring to the show apparently.

What we are seeing is what we will continue to get.

It is a question of whether the public will grow tired of them over the coming weeks or whether one of the other acts will get sufficient momentum to get a strong fanbase of their own.

I hope the twins know that though. When he was talking about working with them on xtra factor they both had very interesting looks on their faces (and Jamie leaned down to whisper to them).

It's one thing if he's said to them "It's all just publicity, I think you're awesome", but it's quite another if they have to work with him thinking that he loathes them.

I don't care if the twins never sing a ballad. I look forward to the J&E extravaganza every week.

I think Friedman should give a thought to how the twins must feel to read these constant put downs from him. They come in for constant harsh critisism in the press, as it is: surely he doesn't need to be sticking his oar in too. I find it quite unprofessional. He's supposed to treat all the contestants equally and if he's not going to have digs at all of them he should shut up and stop singling out J&E.

What is there to find out? We know they can't sing, but us fans of Jedward like them because they don't take themselves seriously, they put on entertaining performances and are by far the most interesting act in the competition.

I'd like to see the other acts come out of their comfort zone and have to deal with all the dancing and choreography that Jedward have to deal with.

Even if John and Edward do have to sing a ballad they will make it their own and do well with it. Just give them something that can fit their style like Total Eclipse of the Heart.

I'm of this opinion too. I actually think I'd find it hilarious in the same way I find Flight of the Conchords funny. They sing songs which sound serious musically but are ridiculous in terms of how they sing/the lyrics. J&E are much the same, I'm so far into it I don't see myself changing now.

The ONLY thing that would "ruin" them for me would be if they started singing well. The joke would then be over and their USP would fizzle out.

Lets face it..Friedman IS the act..not the twins.

It's his staging and choreography that is getting them the votes.

If it was just the two of them singing without the crazy stuff Friedman is doing..... they wouldn't stand a hope in hell.

The twins are just his prop.

The only way they will be "found out"..is if Friedman stops giving them the OTT staging. It's in his hands.

They get bonus points if they do the sax solo!
