Joe's broken rib - The X Factor

There was a story knocking about on here a day or two ago saying Joe had broken a rib as a consequence of some sort of prank at the house.

What became of that in the end? Was it debunked? If he really is injured it's surprising we're hearing nothing much about it considering all the speculation about other contestants' sore throats that is going on.

i dont think he's really broken a rib - the way stacey was talking about it, it seemed as though she was just exaggerating.

hope he's okay though!

You're probably right. I'm sure if he really was hurt it would be wall to wall on here.

The producers of the show have said he has not broken his rib, he simply fell and hurt himself when Stacey and Lucie were playing some prank on Ollie, and Stacey said he had broken it, a bit over dramatic I think is the word.

If he has broken a rib, which from what I can gather he has not, then he should not be permitted to sing it won't be fair to him.

I sounds as if the broken rib thing was a Staceyism. If he really had hurt himself I'm sure we'd be seeing "Tragic Joe will sing through the pain on Saturday" headlines.
