Corrie 5/11/09: Getting Away With It

Thursday 5 November 2009, 8:30PM - 9:00PM

Having thought about nothing else since Tony’s confession Roy (David Neilson) tells Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) he’s now convinced Tony did murder Liam and thinks the police should be told. But Hayley’s less sure and warns Roy that people will think he’s mad – just like they did with Maria. Has Tony got away with murder?

Joe’s (Reece Dinsdale) on a high when he finishes work on the boat. But his happiness is shortlived when he’s made redundant from the hardware shop. Gail (Helen Worth) however tells him not to worry, claiming she’ll support him until he gets another job.

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) allows George (Anthony Valentine) and his wife Eve (Sabina Franklyn) to visit Simon (Alex Bain). They get on well and Peter makes it clear that they’re welcome to visit Simon as often as they like.

Freda (Ali Briggs) moves back into no.3, explaining to Emily (Eileen Derbyshire) that her new job didn’t work out.

This episode is written by David Lane and produced by Kim Crowther, the director is Tim Dowd.

I know, but there shouldn't be - they are back to normal, so, from next Wednesday it will be one ahead until something comes along and cancels the Thursday 8.30 (I'm a Celeb, for example hehehe)
