Anyone got anymore info or spoilers for upcoming storylines for Steve? i want some good stuff from him even falling of the wagon again i would not mind, he is brill when drunk

Drunk Phil is amazing but too much drunk Phil would spoil it. We need drunk Phil every few years or every Christmas atleast!

I so want Phil and Shirley back together really soon. However, this time it can't be a drunken fling. Shirley is the a great motherfigure to Ben and Ben really likes Shirley. I wonder how Phil will cope without Peggy around - he'll have to get used to working the George Foreman.

linda henry hinted on paul ogrady about something happening with phil and shirley. i so want it to happen before xmas. there is a webcam script for new years eve that first made me think they were together. but then i asked steve at elstree and he said they weren't. im ignoring that though!

i dont know what else they can do with him

Phil and Shirley would make a great couple, they are very believable and have a great chemistry together. they are so alike in personalities as well i think Shirley would be the best suited woman for Phil since Kathy

and i can also see them running the vic together and Shirley as landlady once Peggy's gone. although if Janine and Archie do get their hands on the vic this is unlikely to happen

I love drunk Phil as well though. Can't help feeling bad though that I like seeing an alcoholic in turmoil. :S

I too think this. I always think the producers have plan A and Plan B. If Manda and Adam are popular then they will make it a long term storyline that Adam is Phil's. If manda and Adam are axed then he isn't.

I wonder if Phil will be turning to drink again after he and his family lose the Vic at Christmas? It's usually when something bad happens like this, especially when it affects him and his family, he hits the bottle.

I agree, when Phil is drunk he is such a better character and actually acts better than when he's sober
