VM got any plans to put V+ right?

When i first got V+ it had a national problem - every few minutes no response to the remote and few seconds later it plays catch up with all the key presses

the world moaned about it and an upgrade seemed to sort it out

mines been working fine for couple years but just lately the problem has returned albeit to lesser degree

VM got any plans to put V+ right again or do we just have to put up with this POS

P.S. Did VM ever decide to fix search feature, or have they concluded that they can get just as fat by leaving it crippled?

God, I hope so. Branson could grow a whole new beard in the time it takes a V+ box to change channels.

Still, it's a privilege to have a device in my home that makes full use of Intel's 4004.

I'm experiencing this problem too. It's massively frustrating. Worth calling customer services?

I think they know the problem because it's an old one - and new users wont know any different so they let them put up with it - but they did get rid of it and for few years the box was fine

Have had the Samsung V+ for three months now and it is faultless. Super fast reaction to the remote, no lock-ups, and the picture quality is superb. Have no regrets moving from $ky HD-in fact am switching broadband and phone to Virgin in a couple of weeks. Happy bunny!

Had the same problem with mine for a couple of months recently, so I tried initialising the hard disk and it's been fine since
